Director of Digital Transformation- Market to Order
We're looking for a Director of Digital Transformation who brings technical, process and strategic leadership as well as a service-oriented mindset in pursuit of bringing business value to our internal stakeholders and customers. In addition to leading a team of product owners that support our core business functions, the individual will partner with Market, Sales, Business Operations and IT team to create a digital roadmap which delivers state of the art Market to Order digital capabilities in support of our subscription business. Working with multi-functional PTC teams, you will bring expertise in defining and delivering enterprise process and systems that transform the PTC ecosystem. Your ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team, that crosses the organization, and is geographically distributed will make a deep impact at all levels of the company.
PTC is undergoing a transformation to transition our business into a best in class, cloud based subscription software company. The Business Products group is responsible for driving the transformation related to core business systems. Specifically, we are undertaking a modernization of our Market to Cash platform in support of the transformation. Attract, develop, and lead a team of Product owners who drive the definition, planning, and implementation of our core business systems
Own the delivery and management of the prioritized roadmap and governance approved technology investments for the Quote to Cash business capabilities. Ensure that it aligns with the overall corporate direction and company vision.
Be the champion and voice of our internal customers for the systems we build.
Shape impactful relationships with business partners. Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Play a critical role as a liaison in creating alignment between IT teams and business partners. A collaborative attitude and ability to develop win/win solutions is essential to the job
Work as the strategic interface across business functions for business-IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management
Serve as a "trusted advisor," and function as a key point of contact for IT and business stakeholders
Provide thought leadership to business stakeholders in understanding emerging technologies.
Measure success. A feature's release does not dictate success. Define what success means for each solution and each capability before it goes to development.
Communicate clearly and efficiently to all stakeholders, delivering good news and bad news, early and often, to promote proactive actions.
Define and set expectations for IT and business teams, holding them accountable to success and failures.
Skills and knowledge:
10+ Years of Experience
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives, delivering large system implementations
At least 5 years within Business Systems or Information Technology delivery organizations
Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or Information systems or commensurate work experience
Project portfolio management experience
Direct line reporting responsibilities
Strong understanding of Quote to Cash business capabilities
