About the role:
The Director of Digital Strategy and Experience is a new position at Toll Brothers. It is being created to help Toll Brothers re-invent and orchestrate its digital product offering: Toll Brothers aims to create an online digital experience for its customers that is on-par with the in-person experience for which the Company has long been known. The person stepping into this role will be establishing new digital product capabilities within Toll Brothers. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor and lead the creation of an end-to-end digital experience from the early lead phase through home ownership. The person stepping into this role will join the Toll Brothers Business Improvement Team.
Create an amazing experience for users of Toll Brothers' digital products (includes customers and employees)
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Build consensus among Operational and Functional leaders on the vision and goals of Toll Brothers' digital products
Optimize digital product offerings and features based on tradeoffs between cost, speed, customer needs, strategy, and business impact
Maintain a short-term (1 year) and long-term (3-5 year) roadmap for Toll Brothers' digital products, illustrating the Company's vision and plans
Develop and maintain the ongoing business case for continued investment in Toll Brothers' digital products
Stand up cross-functional digital product governance to support ongoing improvements to the digital experience
Coordinate activities of product managers
Maintain strong working relationships with engineering, development, UX design, and creative teams
Manage product lifecycle planning and execution using a program approach, ensuring predictable, consistent, and successful delivery on all tracks of work
Identify, partner with, and manage third parties and vendors
Establish clear and measurable product goals and a regular performance assessment cadence
Oversee regular testing to create ongoing, incremental product improvements

Ability to maintain the highest ethical standards consistent with Toll Brothers' values
7+ years of digital strategy and/or product management experience delivering large complex programs (e.g., a portfolio of projects)
7+ years of experience working closely with experience designers, engineers in custom product development, systems integration, and/or software development
Ability to earn the confidence of Senior Managers and for leading without formal authority
Ability to be a great collaborator
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and making recommendations/decisions with imperfect information
Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills
Possess a blend of business and technical savvy that includes a big-picture vision and the drive to make the vision a reality
A Bachelor's degree is required
MBA or consulting experience is a plus
