Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, as the Director of Demand Generation, you would drive company growth through the development of world-class lead generation and nurturing programs. Because ThreatConnect is well-funded and fast-growing in an emerging space, you will have the right resources to build on our momentum and achieve a very satisfying success.

Day in life...
In this role you'll get to set and execute strategy for Demand Generation - using all of the modern tools available. You'll provide critical support for Sales teams in the mid-market and enterprise spaces in North America, in the US Federal Government, and within the enterprise space in EMEA. You'll be a visible and core player in the success of the company working across departments to harness everything needed to build pipeline and support deal closure.
Develop and execute demand generation campaign plans using content marketing, email marketing, account-based marketing, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), physical and virtual events, and any other tactics and channels appropriate to our audiences
Work with third parties on sponsored campaigns (e.g., webinars, content syndication, and email)
Develop sales intelligence tools to provide timely insights to all Sales team members to aide in their prospecting efforts
Monitor important upstream analytics including email deliverability, open rates, and click-through rates to adjust campaigns for optimal results
Set and implement content marketing strategy to align with the buyer journey - working collaboratively with the Director of Product Marketing
Work with internal sources to create content for your demand generation campaigns
Work with creative agencies to create appealing materials that generate demand as well as reinforce our brand
Own all things demand analytics from campaign performance, to demand waterfall, and to closed-loop attribution
Forecast lead generation using industry benchmarks and historical performance data
Align with Sales on Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) criteria and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
Produce regular reports to analyze and improve results as well as communicate ROI
Lead, manage, and cultivate a team of top-notch marketers

Completely overhaul the existing MQL scoring system
Launch a sales intelligence dashboard that provides critical prospecting insights to all members of the Sales team based on marketing intelligence
Lead your team to the successful execution of the current quarter's demand generation initiatives (outbound, ABM, trigger based nurture, webinars, and virtual events) and achieve the current quarter's KPI goals
Play a major role in the 2021 marketing plan
Begin the process of mapping the buyer journey and work with the Director of Public Relations and Content Marketing to develop a content strategy to support it

Have 10+ years of progressive experience in Demand Generation preferably for B2B technology software companies
Have experience with all aspects of Demand Generation from: field and virtual events, to outbound and trigger-based email campaigns, to account based marketing, SEM, social media, and etc.
Have an advanced level of understanding our marketing automation systems and an advanced understanding of how to wire these systems with Salesforce CRM
The ability to motivate, manage, and cultivate a team of direct reports and to identify and hire top quality professionals as new team members
Experienced working in B2B and/or SaaS technology
Experienced working in cybersecurity
Experienced working in highly transactional Marketing and Sales environments - cracking the code on how to feed large scale Sales teams with high quality MQLs, Sales Intelligence, and SRL
