Position Summary

The Carry-On Trailer Director of Dealer Sales will be a strategic, creative and results driven sales leader. He/she will develop and execute a revenue generating strategy supporting aggressive growth for Carry-On Trailer. This role will be responsible for increasing business with existing customers as well as growing new dealers to help drive Carry-On's strategic goals. The Director of sales will be an essential part of the continued success of Carry-On Trailer, reporting into our VP & General Manager of Carry-On Trailer.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads strategic planning to deliver and administer a profitable sales strategy.

• Design, deploy, and lead dealer sales programs to drive sales growth and customer retention.

• Create, develop, and monitor key metrics for sales team to include sales growth and gross margin.

• Analyze effectiveness of sales team and work with executive leadership to fine tune for optimal profitability and sales growth.

• Manage and inspire the sales and business development teams. Create a culture that promotes and rewards initiative, growth, open communication, accountability, and excellence with passionate individuals who share the goals and vision of the company.

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the dealer sales team and utilize CRM, business intelligence, and other sales systems to efficiently manage team workload and objectives.

• Ensure strategic direction is aligned with the companies' objectives and the needs of our external dealers while capitalizing on opportunities for profitable sales growth.

• Analyze overall business conditions to anticipate and forecast volume trends, changes and threats affecting the company's objectives.

• Continuously improve processes and ways of operating to drive productivity and overall effectiveness.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

• Minimum 15 years' experience as a Commercial Sales Leader, Director, or Executive

• Minimum 5 years of relative industry experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change, demonstrates learning agility with desire to grow and develop.

• Team player with a growth, development and challenge accepted mindset.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships.

• Preferred experience in managing dealer programs in a B2B environment.

• Strong problem-solving attitude

• Proficient with Microsoft Office

• Experience with SalesForce CRM or related CRM systems preferred.

• Willingness and availability to travel 30%+

• Position can be based out of Lavonia, GA or Addison, TX
