About the Role

As a Director Data Platform Modernization, you will actively participate in presales activities including public presentations, workshops and proposal development. You will have a thought leadership role in shaping our client facing Data Modernization practice and will be the expert in advising our clients on options to modernize data platforms, analytics strategy, roadmap and aligning implementation approaches with our internal Development, Architecture, and Project Management organizations. You will identify the business value needed by our clients and shape solutions that span the entire life cycle of projects. You will work closely with engagement managers and pursuit teams to maximize the business development capacity and leverage Neal Analytics capabilities.

You will be the expert in advising our leadership team and our clients on the various practical options for a data platform modernization, IoT and Analytics implementations. In addition, you will be expected to provide hands-on leadership in all aspects of achieving the growth of the team including technical leadership to hands-on architecture, solution design, and development.


Day-to-day, You Will:

  • Work with the internal leadership team to develop and evolve our Data Modernization solution offering, go to market strategy, Solution framework and required collateral
  • Work with sales teams to position and present data platform modernization, IoT and Analytics solutions that target realization of business value for our Clients
  • Train, coach and mentor team on Data Engineering, Architecture and Analytics to drive outcomes for our clients business
  • Assist with qualifying opportunities, undertake exploratory meetings with the sales team and the client to drive to a solution, proposal, and to close the deal
  • Deliver strategic Data modernization solutions from prototype through deployment
  • Oversee the ongoing development a Data modernization and Analytics strategy and high-level architecture that enables delivery of world class solutions for our clients
  • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data integration, data aggregation and reporting solutions
  • Remain active in external networks to proactively integrate new technologies as business Coordinate with the Data Science organization to identify future needs and requirements
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the projects
  • Participate in the hiring of new permanent staff and contractors
  • Travel as needed

Requirements

You are an experienced leader with a proactive and participative management style. You instill and reinforce a strong customer service and business-oriented ethic. You have excellent client-facing and internal team leadership communication skills and can confidently communicate to all levels of the business from operational to executive. You have extensive pre-sales solution envisioning experience and data projects delivery experience, building demonstrations, estimates, proposal development capabilities, ability to develop client presentations and conduct workshops.

  • Proven track record of 10+ years of continuous experience architecting, developing, and deploying Data centric solutions for external clients within a consulting organization
  • A minimum of 5 years experience directly managing and leading people
  • A minimum of 5 years experience building a Data centric consulting practice
  • Thought leader in Data Modernization, IoT, Analytics, and cloud technologies

You will be an integral part of the leadership team charged with bringing the promise of the Neal Analytics brand to Customers &amp; Candidates. Success in the role is defined by brand/service offering awareness and conversion of the “aircover” into Sales opportunities.</p> <p>The Solution Portfolio Development (SPD) will partner with Marketing to develop positioning strategies and GTM plans.
