In this role, you have the opportunity to

The Director of Customer Operations will manage the Customer Operations Team for North America. Be the customer facing contact for Supply Chain and the main point of contact for Sales with Supply Chain.

You are responsible for

  • Creates and executes strategic vision for Retail Customer Order processing as to relating on-time and in-full metrics (internal and external) for the Personal Health division of Philips North America

  • Ensures strong relationships with Retail Customers and drives compliance with Customer standards and requirements

  • Drive reduction of vendor compliance and shortage deductions

  • Align with other Supply Chain leadership (including, Planning, NPI, and associated partners (Finance, Sales, Marketing) from local, global and other markets to ensure adherence of quality and Customer Service Level

  • Pro-actively embeds quality in products and processes while complying with relevant business and regulatory requirements to deliver on our customer promise and drives a quality mindset throughout Operations and assesses effectiveness of third party processes and their quality control.

  • Actively ensures integration across the E2E value chain by identifying key drivers of value and influencing others to work cross functionally to increase operational excellence and customer value.

  • Partners to ensure output of our warehouse and 3PL activities meets current and future demands, regulatory and service requirements and is delivered with competitive costs and speed to our customers

  • Establishes a responsive, agile supply chain, by translating supply chain strategy into processes and policies.

  • Drives supply chain transformation towards digital capabilities through transparency/visibility and data driven decision making

  • Actively drives a culture of continuous improvement leveraging LEAN methodology and Philips Excellence Practices

  • Develop people to achieve maximum relevance and capability

  • Monitors and controls processes and identify the root cause of issues/waste.

  • Monitors employees' health and safety at work and ensures working methods, equipment, premises and environment are safe.

  • Leads the implementation of new systems and processes (including Lean) and formulates new supply chain concepts

  • Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

  • Identifies improvement opportunities across the E2E supply chain by detecting KPI trends and/or analyzing internal and external data to generate and implement value adding solutions with the customer in mind

You are a part of

The Director of Customer Operations will manage the Customer Operations Team and will report directly to the Head of North America Supply Chain. This position is based in Stamford, CT.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 10+ years of Supply Chain experience

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; Master's Degree preferred, preferably in Business or Supply Chain Management

  • Strong People and Process Leadership

  • Relationship management

  • Data driven and can drive a team to a data driven environment

  • Experience with ERP and planning systems

  • Lean certified preferred

  • Proven track record in innovation, high pressure deliverables, and high impact task management

  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) experience

  • Vendor Management

  • Travel 30 40%
