JOB DESCRIPTION The Director of Curriculum and Inclusion provides guidance, training, oversight, and support to co-teachers and support staff to ensure all students are provided with full access to learning and engagement at school. Specific duties include:

• Provide training and support to co-teaching teams in planning and implementing fully inclusive instructional program

• Collaborate and communicate with school administration and leadership to ensure full implementation of inclusive education and the TLC Charter School vision and mission.

• Coordinate with co-teachers and service providers to ensure all students receive services as outlined in IEPs

• Ensure compliance for all deadlines, reporting, meetings, and assessments for students with IEPs

• Participate in IEP meetings with co-teachers, families, and service providers

• Maintain positive and collaborative partnership with families, staff, and students with IEPs

• Participate in SELPA trainings and meetings as Special Education Coordinator for TLC QUALIFICATIONS: * Current, valid California Education Specialist credential (required) * Experience with SEIS * Bilingual (Spanish) * Extensive knowledge and commitment to inclusive education
