We are looking for a Director of Corporate Services to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety. The person in this role should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operations for 500+ employees and 100,000 square feet of office space. In this role you will have the opportunity to lead major office renovations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions

  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement

  • Work with designers, architects, contractors, building management, and leadership to plan and execute building renovations

  • Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measure results against standards; make necessary adjustments

  • Develop and manage annual budget; track expenditures and analyzes variances

  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time

  • Ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety

  • Negotiate service agreements

  • Coordinate with Corporate Event Planning team on various events ranging from 25 to 400+ attendees

  • Oversee employee Tenure Awards program

  • Manage outsourced mail room, including negotiating operations contracts to include service provider and shipping vendors

  • Manage corporate switchboard operations and provide excellent customer service


  • BA in Business, Management or 10 years experience as a Director or Sr. Office Management role

  • Ability to engage with C-Suite Leadership

  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • Proficient in MS Office and Coupa

  • Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures

  • Top-notch problem solver

  • Proven ability to coach and lead a multi-disciplined team

VIEW JOBS 10/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-18T00:00 SUMMARY OF POSITION The Senior Analyst/Manager Corporate Finance will work within the Company's Enterprise Analytics department on a broad range of projects, including maintaining the corporate model, strategic and financial planning, accretion/dilution analysis and other corporate initiatives to drive shareholder value. This individual will provide support to team members primarily through complex financial modeling, analysis and research included but not limited to feasibility and ROI analyses. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain the corporate model and provide support for strategic planning process * Calculate various company metrics such as weighted average cost of capital, net asset value, investment accretion/dilution and share repurchase internal rate of return * Develop relationships with internal departments to ensure ability to acquire data on a timely basis * Provide and ensure accuracy of financial analysis of various corporate initiatives * Work with senior management on a variety of M&A, investor presentation support, scenario modeling, and ad-hoc projects as necessary * Prepare executive level presentations and documents for key constituents, which may include the board of directors, investors, rating agencies and other groups within the Company * Perform detailed modeling of finance and capital markets transactions * Prepare Corporate Finance Dashboard for Quarterly Operations Report * Conduct feasibility and underwriting of acquisitions targets and major capital projects * Preparation of valuations of owned assets, e.g. for dispositions or management agreement negotiations * Conduct ROI and post ROI audits on various ROI projects for owned assets * Other duties as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field * Minimum three years experience in a similar position * Minimum three years of real estate/hospitality experience REQUIRED SKILLS * Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques, as well as proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications * Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills * Demonstrated achievement in finance, REIT/lodging experience preferred * Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment It is the policy of Host Hotels & Resorts to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, ancestry, genetic information, disability, marital status, or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
