The Corporate Analytics team supports global initiatives across multiple functional areas working as a combined business and technology team with a team of world-class data developers to focus on the most complex opportunities in front of our organization.
The Director of Corporate Data provides the organization critical insights for the management of the business across multiple administrative and commercial functions globally. The ideal candidate will have experience with KPI Reporting, Benchmarking, Balanced Scorecarding, as well extensive experience as the leader of an organization with ad hoc analytics and strategy-framing responsibilities. This role must be a strong communicator of complex concepts while directing a team responsible for timely and accurate outputs in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
As a member of the corporate data leadership this role will be responsible for collaborating to produce a strategic roadmap for the company's data assets and analytics capabilities.
Lead an analytics team with diverse experience and expertise in multiple analytical fields (finance, supply chain, business intelligence, predictive analytics and business modeling).
Serve as a liaison between the Corporate Data Center of Excellence (COE) and teams across the company.
Provide data-driven insights during large, cross functional initiatives. Develop and present clear, concise summaries of complex topics for executive consumption.
Provide internal consulting support and expertise serve as the organizational subject matter expert on techniques for measurement, incremental ROI tracking and initiative benchmarking.
Oversee the implementation and application of data governance standards across corporate analytics; serve as a resource for other teams implementing standards in alignment with enterprise guidelines.
Foster a culture of discovery, learning and continuous-improvement among analytical team members with diverse experience operating in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
Live the organization's "never settle" mindset through continuous awareness of technological advancements; serve as an advocate and change-leader as new tools emerge to drive improved business outcomes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

COMPETENCIES (Skills and Abilities)
Proven ability to coach, mentor and lead a talented analytics team in a dynamic, fast-paced culture
Fluency with database technologies (SQL, MySQL and Redshift preferred)
Experience with modern analytics and data visualization tools (Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau preferred)
Expertise with Excel for financial or business scenario modeling
Team player with experience working with engineering, business and senior leadership partners
Solid communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and project management skills
Impeccable attention to detail
Self-directed operating with passion, urgency, focus and discipline.
