Coordinate and manage daily content for all main
Purdue Athletics social media accounts and social content programs, withcontent planning focused on generating engagement, growth and revenue.Collaborate with SIDs on individual sport accounts for strategy, prioritizationand parameters on posted material. Manage and participate in the Purduesocial community, engaging fans, answering questions, providing customerservice and serving as the voice for the Boilermakers in this space. Createconversations about Purdue to foster positive attention on the athletics departmentin both proactive and reactive functions.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications,Public Relations or related field.
Four years of experience developing andimplementing marketing plans, social media or creative servicesstrategies.
Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suiteand social media platforms.
Excellent creativity and (oral/written)communication skills, including public speaking.
Strong interpersonal, customer service andmotivational skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, andproblem solving skills.
Expertise with Microsoft Office.
Must be able to influence and build workrelationships among a diverse workforce at all levels.
Ability to manage projects and deadlines withattention to detail and follow-through.
Must possess a learning orientation to changingtechnology affecting athletics marketing, promotions and communicationsprocesses.
Ability to communicate and adhere to University,Big Ten Conference and NCAA policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
Must be able to work flexible schedule;including evenings and weekends as it relates to sporting events.
A valid driver's license and ability totravel.
Marketing, communications or creative servicesexperience with a college or professional sports team.
Experience with video editing software.
Working knowledge of Purdue University.
Understanding of HTML5 and CSS.
