Member of Creative Services team that focuses on developingand implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that supports thevalues, mission and brand of the Purdue University Athletics Department in waysthat engage a variety of audiences, including fans, donors, alumni, recruitsand campus community members. Coordinate and manage daily content for all main

Purdue Athletics social media accounts and social content programs, withcontent planning focused on generating engagement, growth and revenue.Collaborate with SIDs on individual sport accounts for strategy, prioritizationand parameters on posted material. Manage and participate in the Purduesocial community, engaging fans, answering questions, providing customerservice and serving as the voice for the Boilermakers in this space. Createconversations about Purdue to foster positive attention on the athletics departmentin both proactive and reactive functions.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications,Public Relations or related field.

  • Four years of experience developing andimplementing marketing plans, social media or creative servicesstrategies.

  • Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suiteand social media platforms.

  • Excellent creativity and (oral/written)communication skills, including public speaking.

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service andmotivational skills.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, andproblem solving skills.

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office.

  • Must be able to influence and build workrelationships among a diverse workforce at all levels.

  • Ability to manage projects and deadlines withattention to detail and follow-through.

  • Must possess a learning orientation to changingtechnology affecting athletics marketing, promotions and communicationsprocesses.

  • Ability to communicate and adhere to University,Big Ten Conference and NCAA policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule;including evenings and weekends as it relates to sporting events.

  • A valid driver's license and ability totravel.

Preferred:

  • Marketing, communications or creative servicesexperience with a college or professional sports team.

  • Experience with video editing software.

  • Working knowledge of Purdue University.

  • Understanding of HTML5 and CSS.

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 Assist with the delivery of athletic health care of assigned sports team(s). Provide service care given of emergency needs of student-athletes, provide immediate Rx rehabilitation for patients, provide supervision of returning student-athlete to athletic activity, and provide appropriate documentation of care. Will supervise students in Athletic training curriculum, work with coaches of the respective assigned sports, provide the day to day liaison between physicians and sport coaches. Maintain appropriate medical records for student-athletes. Required: * Master's degree. * Bachelor's degree from CAAHEP accredited athletic training education program. * NATA-BOC certification and Indiana Athletic Training License or Indiana Physical Therapy License . * One year experience in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy and/or Athletic Training. * Physical ability to demonstrate all exercises to patients, assume positions to stretch patients and stamina to work on his or her feet for approximately eight hours a day. * Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally. * Excellent (oral and written) communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and maintain relationships at all levels. * Strong organizational and time management skills and capable of handling confidential information with discretion. * Basic computer knowledge. * Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and travel. * Ability to communicate and adhere to University, Big Ten Conference and NCAA policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Preferred: * Intercollegiate Athletic work experience. * Two to three years experience in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy and/or Athletic Training.
