Saint Michael's College is inviting applications for the Director of Conferences and Special Events. The Director is the driving force behind delivering comprehensive excellence in event management, ensuring seamless execution of a diverse range of events, leaving no detail untouched. From college-sponsored events to external client functions, the Director will create memorable experiences, fostering positive relationships across campus, and with clients, vendors, and contractors.
In addition to delivering positive event experiences, the Director will bring a strategic mindset to revenue generation, developing and implementing a sales strategy that not only drives revenue but also builds brand awareness for our rental and event spaces and establishing Saint Michael's College as a premier events venue. As the architect of events and rental revenue growth, the Director will bring a blend of creativity and business acumen to attract external clients and establish lasting partnerships with new and existing clients, organizations, and communities.

Requirements:
Applicants must have the following:
5 - 7 years of experience working in events management, conference and meeting coordination in a fast-paced environment; event planning and coordination in a college and university setting is a plus
Experience with event management systems is preferred
Sales and revenue generating experience
The ability to successfully pass driving record check. For criteria please see the Driver Acceptability Matrix
