Job Summary:

We are in search of a strategic, driven, and seasoned communications expert to enhance our practices, craft new strategies, and lead initiatives with a lasting impact on our student community.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary public relations contact for all ECPI University locations.

• Consult with senior leadership developing strategies, communications, and content.

• Identify, develop, promote, and distribute university organic content.

• Build and maintain relationships with students, key University staff, industry, and media representatives.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain effective community outreach programs.

• Serve as Editor-in-Chief for university public facing communications and publications.

• Effectively collaborate with marketing in developing initiatives that support university goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.

• 7+ years in Corporate Communications and/or Public Relations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Can seamlessly work across all levels of an organization.

• Has strong networking and relationship building skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle crisis situations effectively.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working in higher education and specifically the career college sector.

• A proven history of developing and distributing content through media outlets.

• Strategic marketing experience.
