MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
LCSW or Licensed Psychologist (copy required upon hire)
Past experience providing clinical supervision
Valid New York State Driver's License (copy required upon hire)
Physical & TB Test (required within one month after hire)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience providing clinical supervision within an adolescent residential treatment setting.
Experience in the development and direct delivery of best practice counseling services to emotionally and behaviorally challenged youth.
Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
Experience in writing treatment program materials, protocols, and policies.
Experience developing, implementing, and providing training on trauma-informed care practices within a treatment setting.
REQUIREMENTS

SALARY
$110,000 annually
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide instruction and supervision, as assigned, to Department Heads and Behavioral Health Clinicians related to best practices as well as evidence-based practices with respect to clinical services.
Responsible for meeting with Department Heads and clinical consultants on a regular basis to devise broad and effective clinical treatment systems and processes within the residential programs. Assist the Department Heads in the development of written program summaries, practices, and protocols.
Construct a framework that aligns the agency with a trauma-informed treatment philosophy and implement/recommend training, as needed.
Responsible to monitor clinical notes in the EHR for both quantity and quality as well as compliance with regulations (assigned departments).
Responsible for scheduling and assigning tasks to clinical consultants to maximize their contributions to the agency.
Provide consultation for program evaluations and make recommendations regarding how best to enhance the programmatic and clinical components of our services.
Provide direct or facilitate comprehensive training to Residential Department Heads, Behavioral Health Clinicians, Family Service Coordinators, and Case Planners on treatment topics.
Provide training during new hire orientation with respect to treatment topics.
Offer consultation services to cottages at the request of the respective Residential Department Head to assist clinical and direct care staff in developing effective behavioral intervention plans to reduce the incidence of individual challenging behaviors (i.e. restraints, assaultive behavior, treatment resistance, etc.).
Responsible for review and formalized feedback on the electronic referral process and record keeping in the EHR on an as-needed basis.
Responsible for collaborating with senior leadership in identifying opportunities to serve new, specialized treatment populations and helping to design appropriate programs to meet their clinical needs.
Attend all meetings and training as required by the Director of Residential Services.
Be available for consultation to identify new regulatory requirements and to draft agency policies and protocols to meet said regulations. Update, as needed, agency policies and procedures as it relates to all clinical program operations.
In conjunction with Quality Assurance and the Residential Department, assist with conducting research as assigned.
Assist in other duties as requested by the Director of Residential Services.
Adhere to the treatment philosophy of The William George Agency and the rules, requirements, and regulations of the New York State Office of Family and Children Services.
Responsible for adhering to and performing all duties in accordance with every safety standard, practice, and policy of The William George Agency. This includes, but is not limited to, review of The William George Agency's Safety Policy and attending all required safety-related training.
