As the Care Services Manager, we will look to you to promote our CHIEF core values of compassion, humility, integrity, excellence and fun. The Care Services Manager is responsible for providing quality nursing oversight at an Enlivant community.


  • Ensures quality resident care is consistently delivered in accordance with all local, state and federal guidelines

  • Partners with the Executive Director on recruiting, hiring, new hire orientation, training and in-services for the Resident Care Partners, Medication Assistants, LPNs and Lead Resident Care Partners

  • Collaborates and partners with physicians, pharmacy and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for our residents

  • Conducts comprehensive resident pre-admission, admission and quarterly assessments

  • Provide on-call support for the community

  • Ensures compliance, efficiency and team's understanding of policies and procedures

  • Additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Licensed Registered Nurse

  • Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)

  • Maintains a current/unencumbered RN license in the state

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in long term care, community based care or assisted living

  • Quality assurance/improvement and staff development experience

  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time and work overtime as needed

  • The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position

  • Possess the ability to handle complex issues

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Questions? Contact Job Summary: Assistant Executive Director is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of the assigned community. Essential Functions: * Provides assistance in the supervision of the community operation along with training, coaching, counseling, and performance evaluations of all staff members. * Works closely with health services director in the nursing services department making sure the needs of the residents are met and helps in the development of service plans that meet the required state codes and company policies. * Ensures that all confidential records of the residents and staff meet federal and state regulations and company policy and procedures. * Works with the community relations director to ensures that census expectations are met and that the resident admission process documentation is completed in a timely manner, meeting established policy and procedure. * Assists in the recruitment and retention of qualified staff throughout the residence, making sure background checks, reference checks and licenses are cleared before the employee is released to work on the floor. * Participates, and at times conducts the weekly residence management meetings when assigned the responsibility, in the morning stand-up meetings and monthly all staff meetings. * Motivates employees through staff appreciation, recognition, and incentive programs. Promotes positive employee relations, addresses concerns timely and resolves grievances as quickly as reasonably possible. * Monitors operations of the community on regular basis and prepares quality review audits and monthly variance reports. * Maintains and facilitates open lines of communication between corporate, regional and residence staff. * Assists in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports in accordance to company policy or federal/state regulations as assigned by executive director. * Works to resolve issues identified by residents, family members, and staff or outside representative. Keeps executive director up-to-date on developments. * Works with the maintenance director to ensure all property and equipment is maintained in good repair, clean, free of trash and litter. Ensures that routine safety inspections and monthly fire drills are conducted on a routine basis. * Shares weekend Manager-on-Duty responsibilities. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Two-year Associate Degree and a minimum of two years working in geriatrics or three years in a management position, with experience with budgets, staff development, training and scheduling. * Ability to creatively problem-solve in both resident care and employee management situations. * Additional coursework in management are helpful. * Able to communicate effectively in English with all levels of the organization and with residents, their friends and family, and with members of the community. * Excellent written and oral communication skills and computer skills required.
