Position: Directorof Clinical Compliance and Education

Qualification must INCLUDE:
• Minimum Three (3) years' experience
• Must be a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist
• Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
• Ensuring knowledge of and compliance with state / federal regulations and laws for all venues (Inpatient - acute & rehab; SNUs & SNFs, swing bed etc)
with a strong emphasis on Outpatient

This position will be responsible for managing, planning,implementing, coordinating and evaluating the clinical compliance and educationcomponents for all of our staff nationwide.
We are a seeking a highly energetic individual to develop teachingmaterials and training programs. This person must be capable of planning andobtaining specific objectives to ensure compliance has been achieved.
Must alsobe able to lead staff and insert positive influences to initiate change andcompliance. This individual must be strong in critical thinking, computer savvyand effective in analysis and data collection as well as, competentin the use of various software platforms.
This successful team member must have a strong understanding andgrasp of healthcare compliance and education. We seek one who is committed to delivering exceptional clinical regulatorycompliance and clinical education.
It is imperative this team member demonstrateexceptional leadership, organizational and written / verbal communicationskills. Must show ability to handlemultiple projects and prioritize each one accordingly.
Must demonstrate competencies in:
•Advanced knowledge of healthcare compliance / regulatoryrequirements set forth by CMS, local & state healthcare programs, OIG aswell as applicable regulatory bodies
•Understanding and ability to comply with Medicare and Medicaid codingand billing requirements
•Compliance and privacy investigations
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
•Ensuring knowledge of and compliance with state / federal regulationsand laws for all venues (Inpatient - acute & rehab; SNUs & SNFs, swingbed etc) with a strong emphasis on Outpatient
•medical review process and denials
•oversight of company-wide QA / QAPI program
•Maintenance of HIPPA privacy and security rules
•Education and training
•Medical Records releasing and review processes
•Education on AMA Billing Guidelines
•Advise senior management regarding risk levels and recommendupdates as regulations change, as well as, manage relationships with externalagents on compliance and reporting issues.
•Minimum Three (3) years' experience
•Must be a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or SpeechLanguage Pathologist
