San Bruno Park is a linguistically and culturally diverse school district in the San Francisco Bay Area. Located at the northern tip of Silicon Valley and just 10 miles south of San Francisco, this small preschool to grade 8 district is the home to five elementary schools and one middle school.

The San Bruno Park Board of Directors recently approved a 9.5% raise over two years for all educators in the district demonstrating its commitment to attract and retain talented staff across the district.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Business Services, the Director of Child Development oversees all District Preschool Operations for the educational and social development of preschool students before, during, and after preschool hours and school-aged children before and after school hours; plans and directs the instructional programs and Center operations; communicates with parents, District and County personnel and community resource agencies; oversees and administers the District Child Care facilities; supervises the performance of assigned personnel.
