As Director of Channel Partners, you will develop partnership strategy and drive business development activities to establish and build business through partnerships, with a primary focus on increasing revenue through this channel. You will structure high-impact business and partnering models, develop and incubate partner programs, and support Business Development in the negotiation and close of partner agreements

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational partnership activities

  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, sales and process needs for channel partners

  • Provide feedback to management of the sales and marketing functions of the business

  • Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve channel growth revenue goals

  • Working toward stringent targets, the job holder will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new partnership opportunity

  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets cross functionally with Business Development, Marketing, Sales and Finance

  • Work cross functionally with sales, account management, and operations for process needs

  • Hunt for business revenue opportunities with partners or new channels

Requirements

  • Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions

  • Must have experience working in a corporate/business focused environment

  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business

  • Proven track record of increasing revenue with new business development

  • Proficient in ability to drive process

  • Customer focused and able to make informed business decisions with available data

  • Media or Marketing Experience

  • Online Media or Marketing Technology experience

  • High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and drive

  • A team player able to integrate seamlessly within a matrix sales organization

This includes all type of sales partners in the region. This role focusses on the management and development of channel sale representatives and existing partner relationships and the onboarding and development of new channel partners in order to meet and exceed growth expectations in the region.
