As the Director of USIS Transformation Change Management, you support and aid in developing the communications for our technology transformation and the customer implications that meet the company's vision and mission. Your focus will be on the changes to business processes, systems and technology and the primary focus is to create plans and segmented contact management plans for educating customers of the changes, maximizing employee engagement and ultimately leading to a smooth transition to the changes. You provide the team with hands-on support for the education and change management communications, through consistent and meaningful touchpoints and experiences for USIS customers. You also make sure you are aligned with and have built strong relationships with the technology team, your communications counterparts, corporate communications and public affairs to ensure the changes, implications, and all communications are integrated.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Change Management

  • Objective is to drive faster adoption, greater utilization and higher proficiency of the changes impacting USIS customers and employees in the organization to achieve the required business results.

  • Collaborates with appropriate teams on plans and activities to integrate change management activities and support project implementation.

  • Develops a set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including communication plan, roadmap, coaching plan, sales and employee training plan contingency plan.

  • Conducts readiness assessments, evaluates results and presents findings in a logical and easy to understand manner.

  • Champions project management methodology to provide expertise on multiple complex initiatives.

  • Continuous change management advocate. Energized by a role that focused less on "what to do" and more on "what can be". Operates through the lens of "customer first", customer experience, and a "we not me" mindset.

  • Project Management Development and oversight of any relevant customer events, webinars, etc.

  • Partnership

  • Partners with communication, training and other specialists to create particular plans and activities to support project implementation.

  • Alignment with employee communications, public affairs, corporate communications and events teams to ensure communication continuity and maintaining a high degree of cross functional team coordination

  • Measurement Measures the effectiveness of change management and communications through defined and agreed upon metrics and supporting analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years working knowledge of change management processes, methods and best practices, preferably with a B2B company.

  • Bachelor's degree in management, marketing or similar is required.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

  • Must have experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, customer experience, and have the ability to formulate new programs to generate excitement and engagement

  • Ability to understand technical terms and translate them into simpler terms that are engaging.

  • Budget management and project management experience

  • Proven experience of managing/briefing other teams or third parties

  • Excellent judgment and decision-making.

  • Highly collaborative work style which includes working effectively across all organizational levels

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and in overcoming ambiguity
