Skilled at both monthly forecasting and annual budget process. Understanding of pace and productivity.

Interview, recommend hiring, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, resolve problems, provide open communication, recommend and conduct performance and salary reviews, recommend discipline and termination as appropriate. Maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profits in all catering and banquet areas. Experienced selling to a variety of market segments and optimizing revenues.

Oversee banquet operations and event execution. Experience overseeing audio visual as a partner profit center. Will be highly visible to guests and operational support staff.

Works flexible hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings. Communicates well with Corporate, Senior Leadership, Food & Beverage Team, Banquet Operations Team, other Team Members throughout the property. Perform continual inspection of all areas under jurisdiction to ensure standards of maintenance and sanitation are adhered to at all times.

Ability to create and cost catering and banquet menus. Ability to partner with Corporate Food and Beverage in beverage and wine list creation. Oversee internal events to include casino marketing themed events.

Perform job duties in a manner that is, dynamic, and forward thinking. Other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management. Director of Catering experience at four-star or above property: 5 years preferred.

Well organized and detail oriented. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Salesforce. Delphi. FDC, Meeting Matrix and/or Social Tables.

Should have proven event planning experience, experience working within a budget and be knowledgeable about food and beverage, as well as catering. Self-confident, creative, extremely organized, resourceful, energetic, detail-oriented and able to multi-task. This individual must be a professional with impeccable integrity and unquestionable ethical and moral standards.

Must also possess the ability to deal with highly demanding patrons with grace and charisma. Must be an analytical thinker and problem solver, striving to always "think outside the box." Possesses excellent time-management skills; must be able to prioritize, self-motivated. Ability to act quickly and exercise good judgement under pressure or in conflict situations.
