Our Director of Business Systems oversee the building and management of Everlane's operational systems. These systems cover the range of business processes across supply chain, inventory management, product data, finance, HR and office IT. Given our rapid growth plan, the role must ensure our system solutions are scalable and suitable at least a year ahead of Everlane's growth.

You will possess meaningful experience with retail and supply chain technology and systems. You will be able to determine build vs. buy decisions and manage both existing legacy systems and new tool creation / system integration. You come with a track-record of managing Business Analysts, Technical Project Managers and Engineers and must be able to collaborate closely across all senior leaders and functions to enable technology effectively.

This hire comes at a critical juncture in Everlane's evolution. Today the company operates in some ways very much like a startup, despite achieving significant size and scale in the market. But as the company continues to grow rapidly, we need to think strategically and differently about all facets of the business. You are expected to bring forward-looking insight to the way technology, data, and digital services can shape that growth.

This role will report directly to the CFO, with a dotted-line to the CTO.

Your day-to-day:

  • Oversee all operational systems related to supply chain, inventory management, product data, finance, HR and office IT

  • Understand business process needs to scope out system requirements

  • Build and execute technology development roadmaps that prepare the organization for at least 3 years of rapid growth

  • Collaborate across the organization to enable the right technology solutions based on specific needs

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Significant experience with retail, supply chain and other operational systems in high-growth environments

  • Expertise in leading the build vs. buy decision process, and in implementing along either path

  • Excited to get your hands dirty and have the talent and energy to help take Everlane to the next level

  • Experience managing teams of business analysts, technical product managers and engineers of 20+

  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated track-record for building collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization

  • Already a fan of the Everlane spirit and ready to embody our values and culture

At Everlane, we're rethinking the way retail works. We have no middlemen taking their cut and no brand markups. Instead, we design our own luxury basics and sell them exclusively at a fraction of the traditional retail price. Since launching in November 2011, Everlane has attracted over 1,300,000 members and has been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Economist, Elle, and GQ.

Please note before submitting an application: as a company, we take hiring very seriously. Interviewing with Everlane may include video and phone interviews, written projects, and/or on-site interviews. Although we are unable to follow-up with each and every applicant, we do our best to run a thorough process for candidates with whom we identify a potential fit.

Everlane provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
