We are seeking a Director of Business Development and Strategy focused on growing partnership revenue, new revenue opportunities and creating and executing new strategies around the US Sports industry and Asia. As the Director Manager of Business Development and Strategy, you will analyze and prioritize new partnership opportunities.
ARC wants energetic, entrepreneurial self-starters, hungry to grow and develop our clients' brands in Asia. As a relationship and merchandise expert, you have a proven track record of meeting sales targets and developing cutting-edge ideas that drive healthy, sustainable growth.
Develop and implement partner acquisition strategies (prospect identification, outreach, pitch ideation, proposal development) for partnerships between US Sports companies and Asia.
Lead strategic initiatives, projects and integrations from ideation to launch.
Grow, build and cultivate existing external and internal partnerships.
Stay abreast of industry developments, technology and competitors.
Understand the strategy and opportunities at ARC including: offerings, services and internal processes
Establish and build relationships with key external contacts and potential clients (e.g., corporate decision makers at known Sports brands, companies and influencers in the sports marketing and agency world)
Coordinate with appropriate internal resources to develop customized programs for prospects
Deliver impactful on-brand and on-target partnership programs for new business prospects
Develop, visualize and present customized partnership solutions for prospective clients
Ability to close deals and bring business to Asia
Research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competing organizations, customer demographics, new technologies and more
Required Skills / Knowledge:
5-7 years of experience in sales and or marketing, generating new business
Sports background & experience or personal interest ; Experience in professional sports organizations a plus
Experience managing multiple projects, setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Commercially minded and results driven with a track record of securing high level partnerships
Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
Up to date with business trends across sports markets and industry sector
Ability to work cross-functionally in a global, matrix organization
Connections / Network with Sports Industry; knowledge with the sports community
Digital / Tech Savvy; Big Data Analytics
