Esperta Health is looking for a dynamic and growth-oriented Director of Business Development that brings a strong sales background in healthcare and provider relations. This person serves as an integral player in growing and owning strategic healthcare partner relationships plus leading a team of business development managers.

Responsibilities
- Lead and build a team of business development managers to achieve corporate monthly quotas
- Develop, support, and grow existing and new business partnerships by driving adoption of the Esperta Health model through strategic outreach, engagement activities, education, process improvement and reporting
- Work with provider groups, health systems, and other organizations to build partnerships
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and discharge planners, case managers, hospitalists, to promote our wound care services
- Increase adoption and strengthen referral sources and/or partnerships through continual partner engagement
- Train and educate the sales team on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages to enhance their sales effectiveness
- Work with our corporate marketing team to build strategic marketing plans that help build trust, increase engagement, and build loyalty within the market
- Work with the business analytics team to analyze local market data and metric and partner specific metrics and build internal and external reports
- Continually find ways to improve upon metrics through testing and creating new initiatives
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet revenue targets and successfully attain weekly referral goals per market plan
- Conduct market research to identify competitive threats, new business opportunities and potential areas for service expansion
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nursing or Hospital Administration. Wound care experience a plus.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant specialty area experience. (i.e. wound care, vascular or surgery) specialty area experience strongly preferred.
- Healthcare provider relations or senior living/senior health experience required
- Travel is required within assigned market and occasionally to corporate meetings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to create a strategic growth plan
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver effective presentations (in-person and online)
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Detail-oriented, strong project planning abilities
- Driven, self-starter with an ability to function independently with little supervision
- Proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships within the healthcare community
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex healthcare scenarios
- Demonstrated organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to lead, provide direction and influence others
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred
