As we continue to grow, we currently have an excellent opportunity for a Director of Business Development for the Northeast Territory.

As a member of our team, you would be responsible for managing sales of the companys mobile cardiac PET imaging service within a defined geographic area. You will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel while identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs sales activities on major accounts
  • Manages personnel and develops sales staff
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams
  • Provides quarterly results & assessments of sales staffs productivity
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results
  • Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures
  • Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers
  • Collaborates with executive management to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines
  • Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales or emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts
  • Collaborates with executive management to establish and control budgets for sales promotion
  • Reviews expenses and recommends economies
  • Holds regular meetings with sales staff


  • Bachelors degree in marketing or business studies preferred; and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in healthcare sector. Equivalent combination of education and experience adequate.
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following healthcare specialities required: nuclear medicine, diagnostic imaging, or cardiology
  • Sales skills including telephonic presentation skills and strong interpersonal, rapport-building skills
  • Self- starter, goal-driven approach with solid follow-up skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and the ability to negotiate

The Director of Business Development is responsible for obtaining rehabilitation contracts with assisted living, independent living, and memory care facilities in their assigned territory. Additionally, they will work collaboratively with the new clients to secure an appropriate home health staffing agreement. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's Degree * Sales or Customer Service Experience a plus * Experience in therapy or wellness a plus * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Computer skills and working knowledge of various programs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Process * New Opportunity: Identifies new opportunities and qualifies prospects through trade shows and/or cold calls. * Introduction: Assesses current rehab needs, identifies objections, asks questions and determines pain areas. * Initial Presentation: Delivers a brief company history and outlines the company's value proposition. * Follow-up: Keeps in frequent contact with potential customers via phone calls, email, letters, and visits. * Final Presentation: Delivers PowerPoint presentation, references, testimonials, and/or sample contracts. * Closing the Deal: Overcomes final objections, communicates with VP of Business Development regarding final negotiations. * Signed Contract: Determines the start date and schedules Sales Start-Up Call. * Post-Sale: Maintain ongoing relationships with customers to verify the quality of services and to ask for referrals; minimum quarterly. Corporate Contact/Paperwork * Records prospecting activities in Pipeline Deals daily. * Maintains warm and hot account lists in Pipeline Deals. * Updates regional focused chain account lists. * Submits weekly schedule to VP of Business Development every Friday by the close of Business. * Submits Time-Off Request Forms and other inter-office paperwork in a timely manner. * Submits Nexonia Reimbursement/Expense Forms by 9:00 am Monday morning of payday. * Attend assigned Sales Team meetings. Tradeshows * Attends beneficial state association trade shows in an effort to meet decision-makers. * Participates in a pre-tradeshow planning conference call. * Enters all tradeshow leads into Pipeline Deals within 48-hours after completion of the show. * Successfully turns tradeshow leads into closed sales through ongoing follow-up contact. * Maintains focused tradeshow lead list. Demeanor/Appearance/Attitude * Maintains a professional appearance demeanor while attending trade shows, making cold calls and conducting meetings with potential customers. * Keeps a positive attitude and presents themselves with an upbeat positive, professional image. * Conveys his/her excitement for the company, our Values and Value Proposition. Goals * Achieves all goals set forth, including, face-to-face meetings, revenue, number of closed contracts, etc. * Effectively manages his/her time by keeping schedule booked with trade shows, cold calls, regional association meetings, prospect face-to-face meetings, customer meetings, COI meetings, and follow-ups, etc. * Maintains consistent communications with VP of Business Development, other team members and corporate office staff. * Provides prospecting goals/pipeline report to VP of Business Development every Friday by the close of Business. * Effectively utilizes the management team to assist with sales presentations and follow-ups. * Updates Opportunity Pipeline completely in Pipeline Deals weekly. * Achieves a minimum number of qualified Face-to-Face Meetings, 12 per month. * Utilize FP's standard format to create an annual sales plan to be presented to VP of Business Development by January 15th. * Provide updates/adjustments to sales plan quarterly.
