Director Of Business Development And Strategy

ParkerBeth Search Partners is very pleased to have an opportunity to help one of our top clients hire a successful Business Development Leader. This is a Commercial Construction role and will be located out of either the Northern CA or Carson City, NV office(Local candidates only).

Our client is a leader in the commercial construction industry, specializing in delivering tailored infrastructure solutions. With over 25 years of experience. They are committed to transforming visions into reality through precision, quality, and a client-centric approach.

About the Position:

The business development leader will need to identify and pursue new business opportunities’ candidate will need to maintain relationships with key clients, represent our client at industry events, analyze market trends and help build and develop the business development department.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the commercial and/or electrical construction industry.
• Proven track record of business development in commercial construction.
• A deep understanding of the regional market - Northern CA and Nevada
• Strong understanding of the construction bidding process and project management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
• Ability to hit the ground running, bringing in new business and leveraging current and past professional relationships.
• Experience with CRM software like HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

Compensation:

• $150,000 base with an aggressive commission structure allowing for a steady ramp period.
