Los Alamos Retirement Community is proud to announce an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and proven Assisted Living Administrator to serve as Director of Aspen Ridge Lodge, a beautiful assisted living facility that is an integral part of our senior living campus. Surrounded by the Jemez Mountains, this campus has been providing exceptional skilled rehabilitation, assisted living, and long-term care services to the heart of Northern New Mexico for over 30 years.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of applicable experience as Assisted Living Manager, preferably certified in the state of New Mexico
  • Must have a proven track record of integrity and performance, and an in-depth knowledge of the assisted living industry (customer satisfaction; hospitality, employee satisfaction; regulatory compliance; clinical; financial)
  • Embrace the standards, values, and beliefs of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exemplary organizational skills
  • Must exhibit sound judgment making skills, patience and compassion
  • Strong analytic and business skills
  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with residents, family members, staff members and stakeholders
  • Possess the flexibility to approach assisted living services through a hospitality-based model

Functions &

Responsibilities:

  • Effective facility, compliance, and revenue management
  • Establish standards of care and service delivery that is individualized for each resident and promotes high customer satisfaction.
  • Promote marketing and community relations, & develop long range marketing goals and community outreach programs
  • Monitor resident care and services to achieve consistent quality outcomes and high customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted census goals
  • Responsible for financial performance and management of all business operations of the facility to include annual budget and monthly P&L analysis and review
  • Monitoring and maintenance of accurate medical records for billing, auditing, and regulatory compliance within approved company guidelines
  • Monitor and evaluate programs to promote the recruitment, retention, career development and continuing education of team members that leads to high satisfaction through team member empowerment and engagement
  • Organize and direct committees and meetings per company policies
