Position Summary

Reporting Directly the Program Manager or Construction Project Manager and working together with the Project Controls team, this positions acts as an Owners Representative and oversees the complete design process of a project. This may include the pre-construction process of venting of design firms and the procurement of services. Throughout the construction of the project all aspects of the design are reviewed and returned for correction or cleared. This position works directly with both the client and the design firm with secondary interaction with the General Contractors.

  • Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignments

  • Manage project development from programming through completion in accordance with program objectives

  • Manages all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures and controls for assigned projects

  • Manages the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications and change orders and coordinates with Control Manager for proper posting in reporting program

  • Attends assigned meetings to cover weekly job progress meetings; issues meeting minutes during design

  • Resolves complex construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements.

  • Reviews status and monitors variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting

  • This positions has supervisory responsibilities

  • Bachelors of Science/Arts degree in Architecture is required

  • A Certificate of Registration as an Architect is required

  • 10 or more years of experience is required

  • Experience in the planning and coordination of capital projects that included the overall design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling activities is required

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred

  • Strong working knowledge in design and construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, environmental and LEED applications, team building and client relationship building preferred

Our team is part of the larger HQ Network Technology Engineering in Bellevue WA. Come and join Network Technology today! As a Sr. Manager on the team you will champion customer experience for Services in T-Mobile & MetroPCS Android devices for hundreds-of-thousands to tens-of-millions active users. You will lead a team of talented and enthusiastic engineers and/or managers who own the design, development, and delivery of core services like Voice, Messaging, Devices Security and native applications (Dialer, Messaging) integration with new services and OS layer support while driving initiatives across multiple teams for various services. Many of the services developed by the team are IMS-based, such as VoLTE and enhanced messaging, RCS and MaaP, multi-device management, with additional customization and innovation. Developing co-existence and radio network traffic steering algorithms and applications. The position is located in Bellevue, Washington. You will serve as the leader of Subject Matter Experts for devices services technology group to develop and prioritize all cross functional strategic projects and develop tactical plans and SME engagement. The Sr. Manager shall actively represent the services technology group within the industry as well as internal cross-functional teams and would provide key insights for feasibility analysis of new technologies, products, features and services as well as enabling functional designs, deployment procedures, and operational processes. This individual should be a recognized leader and subject matter expert who would not only lead technically but also mentor and develop members within the team and drive innovation and outside the box thinking. Responsibilities Responsibilities: * Own the technical services portfolio for devices, managing timelines, priorities, and deliverables for internal and external development teams. * Serve as a point of contact for internal customers and liaise with cross-functional teams within Engineering, Marketing, Product Development, and other stakeholders to implement and certify new products and services with focus on customer experience. * Lead a team that owns end-to-end customer services experience, from understanding user stories and translating them to cored design/architecture, implementation/code review of release candidates to closing the loop on user feedback from Frontline teams. Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure applications/services are delighting customers. * Work closely with vendor and internal teams, including Quality Assurance (QA), Care, and Dev teams, to triage, identify root cause, and provide resolution on defects and other issues quickly and efficiently * Enable team to document technical capabilities, capacities, limitations, and interfaces of your Application Program for use throughout T-Mobile & MetroPCS teams. * Research new technologies and lead transformation efforts for your team and those around you. Monitor relevant industry technologies and standards and document options and impacts via research and creation of technical papers. Identify the impacts and risks of solutions introduction, and make recommendations on solutions evolution * Review, contribute to and Author RFPs/RFIs/RFQs for new technology, standards and architecture, and present recommendations to peers and management teams * Drive vendor and OEM roadmap to ensure T-Mobile services requirements are adequately met and close any gaps. Drive vendors for timely delivery of SW/HW and system features per T-Mobile requirement. Qualifications Qualifications: * 8 years of industry experience in a technology leadership role is required. * Experience leading and managing a team of SMEs working on complex technical projects and define priorities and track deliverables. * Able to Stretch the performance of other leaders.
