Advertised Job Summary

Leads the cultural resources consulting program for the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology. Designs, implements, and administers cultural resources consulting projects for a variety of public and private agencies through the state. Sets program goals and objectives. Advocates on behalf of program staff. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations regarding the protection and managements of cultural resources. Provides feedback to SCIAA head and participates in SCIAA planning sessions along with other program coordinators and division directors

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Master's degree and 5 years relevant program experience, or bachelor's degree and 7 years relevant program experience.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of archaeological techniques, southeastern archaeology, computers, artifact identification and classification. Knowledge of State and Federal cultural resources laws and regulations.

Basic Function: The Vice President of Physician Network will exercise management responsibility over assigned network practices and ensure services are designed to meet the needs of patients, physicians, the public and staff. This will either be done directly, or through delegation of responsibility to the management staff. In coordination with senior leadership and physicians, the Vice President will be accountable for setting the strategy and overall success of their assigned network practices/specialties. Attention is to be given to systems, program development, quality, fiscal management, compliance and clinical management measures, physician satisfaction and outreach. Qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree with MBA or MHA degree strongly preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: Leads management and staff within assigned practices in line with Physician Network strategies. Responsible for retention and recruitment; leads recruitment of physicians for assigned practices. Makes recommendations for annual recruitment plan based on access issues and organizational strategy. Effectively recruits/retains physicians, professional and management staff. i. Develops and participates in an orientation process for leadership team members and collaborates and participates in the orientation process. ii. Provides regular feedback on performance and recognizes exceptional performance. Contributes to the formation of Lexington Medical Center (LMC) Physician Network managerial staff policies that provide clear expectations of performance that align with LMC's vision, mission and business strategies. Provides feedback and coaching to managerial staff. Manages marginal and unacceptable performance. Refers to Human Resources as appropriate. Participates in ongoing leadership development. Works with Physician Network to promote employee satisfaction. Develops action plans to remedy poor performance. Responsible for efficient operation of assigned network practices, including management of the profit and loss statement as well as resources associated with the practice operation. Oversees workforce and resource decisions for the assigned network practices. Fosters effective collaboration between departments, hospital leadership and affiliated services (inside and outside of the hospital) to ensure an integrated approach to providing services and fulfilling the hospital's mission statement. Functions as an effective liaison and intermediary between the hospital and the Physician Network. Where appropriate, represents the hospital to the external market, as well as internally through the application of community relations and marketing activities. Expands LMC's outreach activities to ensure effective partnerships are formed which will facilitate the development of a comprehensive integrated health care system. Develops new business strategies to enhance market share and improve overall performance. Communicates key information to the network partners of these service areas with respect to managed care, marketplace needs, the competitive environment, cost management and customer-focused services. Leads and supports key committees pertaining to these service areas. Works collaboratively to develop and implement well-balanced ideas designed to ensure the strategic success of LMC. Responsible for making strategic plans and setting business objectives for assigned network practices.
