As the Director of Advanced Technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape and driving strategic growth for Molex. Your expertise in the electronics industry, particularly in high-speed interconnects and cable assemblies, will enable you to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the technology team. Our Datacom and Specialty Solutions (DSS) team designs an extensive product line serving customers in telecommunications, datacom, hyperscalers, cloud, data center and storage applications.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and articulate a compelling technology long term technology roadmap vision, inspiring the development team to push boundaries and achieve innovation excellence.

  • Lead the development and implementation of technology initiatives, ensuring they align with the organization's overall business goals and objectives.

  • Evaluate new interconnect technologies, conducting thorough research and analysis to determine their potential impact on our operations and competitiveness.

  • Evaluate attractive adjacent markets for expansion.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their relevance and potential application within our organization.

  • Drive collaboration with relevant industry groups and associations to ensure compliance and effective participation.

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with industry leaders, leveraging these connections to stay connected with market trends and drive business growth.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering or equivalent

  • Experience in the electronics industry.

  • Established relationships with major industry players in the data center and enterprise markets.

  • Proficient in strategic thinking and analytical skills.

  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly across cross-functional teams and effectively influence stakeholders.
