The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a creative, data-driven leader to drive the long-term GTM strategy for end-users and SMB customers that buy Adobe Document Cloud products and services (including Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Sign) on Adobe.com and through resellers/distributors. Additionally, this leader will be responsible for defining and shaping the end-to-end customer journeys for these routes to market.

In this role, you will be responsible the competitive marketplace landscape, keeping a pulse on emerging trends, designing go to market strategies to drive and accelerate growth for both existing as well as new products and services.

The journey management component of this role focuses on how customers discover, evaluate, try, buy, use, and renew our products, and includes managing individual and B2B routes to market. In-product and cross-product engagement is a key focus to help drive and grow monthly active use (MAU) KPIs across desktop, mobile, and web surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have high empathy for the customer, with a creative verve and ability to think big about how the market and end-to-end experiences should evolve. They should be a dynamic leader that can balance strategy with disciplined execution. S/he will be an excellent manager with the ability to effectively partner cross-functionally with product management, product development, design, marketing product managers, and corporate GTM teams. The successful candidate will need to be a smart risk taker who can enable both new customer acquisition as well as long term retention.

Qualifications/Experience

  • BS/BA with 10+ years software, high tech or management consulting experience, MBA preferred.

  • Experience in SaaS product marketing / product strategy

  • Intimate understanding and awareness of the SaaS market and the competitive playing field

  • Bring deep insight into the SMB market opportunity, customer sub-segments, customer economics and competitive trends

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing or product development/management, with strong supporting skills such as project management, data analysis, UX & design expertise, and requirements writing.

  • Proven track record for developing winning strategies and building or launching new initiatives from the ground up.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience presenting to executive leadership (EVP to CEO).

  • Cascade strategies annually and tune quarterly as needed, clearly defining, tracking and reporting KPIs against plans.

  • Ability to influence and negotiate to drive impactful customer and business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated excellence in conceptual thinking and analytical problem-solving amid ambiguity.

  • Ability to rapidly assess a problem, define options, evaluate and execute to address critical business issues.

  • Global cultural awareness and experience with global teams

  • Proven track record for managing geographically distributed direct reports.

  • Passion for leadership, management, and mentoring.

What you'll do: * Work as part of a team to develop customer driven features on a variety of platforms mobile, desktop, and web (most of the focus). Design, develop, and deliver new features within agile development cycles. * Write and maintain unit tests for every feature as applicable. * Develop functional, System, and performance test suites and complete automation before delivering features for final testing. * Help oversee quality of the Sign Application and maintaining the release process. * Work closely with Product Management and DEV/Quality engineers to identify test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processes. Work with end customers directly to transform ideas and workflows into product technology. Define product performance requirement and conduct system performance and load testing. * Contribute to QA automation testing framework and manage QA Continuous Integration environments. * Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the team's productivity and efficiency. Investigate new and exciting concepts and explore the creation of new technology that can strengthen Adobe's patent portfolio of technology.
