Position Purpose Benefits Supplemental Questions
This position exists to provide leadership, supervision and direction for all admissions and recruitment activities conducted by LSC. The position will manage the comprehensive student admissions process including student recruitment, outreach programming and LSC's College in the Schools program. The incumbent supervises Admission Representatives, the College in the Schools Coordinator and Call Center staff. The incumbent works in collaboration with: Institutional Advancement (Marketing), other departments within Academic and Student Affairs, and with external partners. This position will serve as a primary member of the Strategic Enrollment Management Committee and be responsible for the implementation of the LSC Strategic Enrollment Management Plan for all areas that fall under admissions. The position will serve in a leadership role and will oversee and participate directly in LSC's student recruitment activities. This position will provide leadership and mentorship to the LSC Student Ambassadors.
Bachelor's degree in related field
Knowledge of higher education enrollment management concepts
Strong written communications, public speaking and organizational skills
Possess a valid driver's license, ability to operate a motor vehicle, ability to travel including multiple overnight stays
Understanding of SEM strategies and recruitment approaches, including social media and other technology focused recruitment methodologies
Evidence of strong and demonstrated commitment to equity and working with diverse populations
Training and/or experience on persistence and retention issues and strategies in higher education
Master's degree in student personnel, business administration, or related field
Minimum of two years of supervision or managerial experience
Knowledge and use of Customer Relation Management system (i.e. Hobsons) and Minnesota State's ISRS
Project management experience
Minimum of two years enrollment management experience
Minimum of two years SEM experience
