System Director of Accounts Payable The System Director of Accounts Payable is responsible for planning and coordinating, Accounts Payable activities for all entities within the Health System. This position is responsible for timely, efficient, and accurate payable processing, and will ensure quality customer service goals and internal controls are achieved.
Ideal candidate has the ability to motivate and manage a team that works daily in a fast paced environment, and provides training programs that ensures development of staff on an ongoing basis. Job Summary Develops, monitors and evaluates policies and procedures which will enhance the overall effectiveness of the FMOLHS accounts payable process Directs organizational oversight of all open invoices, credits, discrepancies, and unreleased invoice reports, to ensure proper process of payments to vendors in a timely manner Responsible for the scheduling, assignment and management of Accounts Payable staff to assure that payments are processed in a timely manner Works closely with internal departments and Health System leaders to enhance customer experience Leads the technology enhancement efforts to ensure efficiencies. Provides ongoing support, training, and development to staff.# Coordinates the tasks assignments on a daily basis to staff to ensure completion of assignments.

The Opportunity Hajoca Corporation currently has an exciting opportunity to work in our National Support Center, located in Baton Rouge, LA, as the Accounts Payable Manager. The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing all Accounts Payable functions in accordance with GAAP and Company policies and procedures. The job duties of the Accounts Payable Manager include, but are not limited to: * Attracting, recruiting, developing, evaluating and leading the Centralized Accounts Payable (CAP) team to ensure that the best possible service is provided to support our Profit Centers. * Conducting regular team meetings to encourage teamwork, educate on areas of broad applicability and inform of company-level issues. * Developing & documenting efficient policies, procedures and an internal control structure for all areas of AP. * Providing outstanding customer service to our Profit Centers by: * --Creating and maintaining resources, training materials, videos, etc. for Profit Center Managers ("PCMs") to be self-sufficient in all areas of AP, * --Identifying and providing pro-active resolution of AP issues to PCMs before questions arise, * --Being responsive in addressing AP questions from the field in a timely manner, and * --Designing programs to measure and track customer service success. * Identifying and using metrics to evaluate, improve, and coordinate all AP processes at the Service Center level to ensure maximum efficiency and quality service is provided to the Profit Centers, as well as to provide proactive feedback to the Profit Centers on areas of improvement. * Teaching and training the appropriate Profit Center and National Support Center teammates on any relevant AP issues or policy/procedure changes with enough advanced notice to obtain test group feedback prior to finalization. * Working with our vendors in support of our Profit Centers to resolve any large AP related conflicts. * Managing third party vendor relationships such as: AP Advantage, Active Pay, and NTS. * Serving as key liaison between CAP, IT, and other department managers for projects, acquisitions, system upgrades, and any other area needed. * Reconciling subsystem AP balances to the general ledger each month by the 15th. * Attending national-level meetings and training sessions in person to provide information on CAP services and develop stronger relationships with Profit Center Managers. * Escalating any AP concerns, trends or policy changes to the Controller and VP Finance immediately upon identification. * Providing active leadership in implementing Oracle Fusion AP and being the ongoing system expert post-implementation. * Being an advocate within the team and the National Support Center of Hajoca's bottom-up, decentralized culture. * Assisting in special projects and other duties, as needed.
