Community collaboration will provide transformational change to the foster care system in the Deep East Region (Region 5). Focus on an individualized and coordinated service delivery that will be provided by many local partner agencies resulting in a comprehensive level of care and support with the end goal of securing permanent and stable homes.

Position Summary The Director of Accounting & Finance will manage the organization’s financial resources and ensure they are being used effectively to fulfill the organization’s mission to make a positive impact in the community. The Director of Accounting & Finance will be responsible for oversight and quality control of all reporting processes as well as statutory financial reporting and tax policy compliance. This position is also responsible for developing, maintaining, and enforcing finance policies and procedures.

The Director of Accounting & Finance will manage provider network contracts, monthly and payment reconciliations with funders and maintain financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance reports. Essential Responsibilities Financial Management Cash Management: Monitoring and balancing cash flows to meet obligations and optimize investments.

Internal Controls: Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls and company policies and to safeguard company assets. Contract Management:

Establish, renew and monitor contracts with provider network. Budget: Develop and manage the organization's budge, forecasting future revenue expenses and expenses. Invoices: Ensuring invoices are properly approved and coded in General Ledger.

Audit Liaison: Coordination with external financial, compliance and tax auditors. Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reports to the Board of Directors, management and other stakeholders.

Leadership: Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform strategic decision making. Supervision and Support Direct, monitor and provide feedback to financial team. Manage issue resolution process and relate/report issues/concerns to executive leadership.

Complete assigned staff evaluations in a timely. Collaborate and problem solve with peers in the finance organization to address issues and help drive effective and efficient decision making. Qualifications Requires a bachelors degree in accounting or a related field.

Requires 3-5 years of accounting experience including analytical skills, planning, budgeting, financial reporting, general ledger, and statutory reporting experience. Requires a valid driver's license and auto license. Requires clearances:

State Police, FBI, and Child Abuse clearances; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training per state regulation. Working Conditions Physical Demands. Requires vision, speech and hearing.
