Position: Director of Nursing Services

This position is located in the Portland Metro area. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, daytime business hours.

Summary

Cascadia Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing Services. This role involves supervising and supporting nursing leadership staff across behavioral health and primary care, ensuring high-quality care in outpatient, residential, and community outreach settings. The Director will play a key role in integrating primary and behavioral health efforts and promoting Trauma Informed Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Supervision: Support and supervise nursing leadership staff, ensure adequate coverage, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate training.

• Administrative Oversight: Oversee nursing programs for operational efficiency, participate in business planning, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Clinical Consultation: Provide clinical support, promote best practices, and integrate Trauma Informed Care, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing.

• Integration of Care: Facilitate the integration of primary and behavioral health efforts, and oversee care coordination.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in nursing and 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Licensure: Current RN license in Oregon.

• Skills: Strong leadership, administrative, and clinical skills; proficiency in trauma-informed care practices.
