The Position:
Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals and shaping the future of patient care? As a Director, Medical Science Liaison (MSL) on our Clinical Science team, you will play a key role in engaging external experts, supporting clinical programs, and shaping medical affairs strategy. Your work will directly impact Maze's mission to develop treatments for APOL1 kidney disease, other chronic kidney diseases, and phenylketonuria (PKU) -areas with significant unmet medical need.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and professional societies, ensuring our programs align with the latest advancements in the field. You'll also provide valuable clinical insights that help shape our broader strategy, working alongside cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Maze Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company harnessing the power of human genetics to develop novel, small molecule precision medicines for patients living with renal, cardiovascular and related metabolic diseases, including obesity. The expected annual salary range for employees located in the San Francisco Bay Area is $227,000 to $277,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus.
Maze performs position-based compensation benchmarking to industry market data to ensure we pay competitive wages. Determination of starting salary will depend upon a variety of job-related factors, which may include professional experience, skills, and job location. The expected salary range for this role may be modified in the future.
