Responsibilities and requirements are below.
Provide leadership with scientific and clinical advice.
Work Closely with AVP Medical Affairs to assure Oncology deliverables met in a timely manner
Present healthcare professionals and decision makers with accurate, unbiased, balanced and timely answers to unsolicited request for information about Oncology products
Design, develop, manage, analyze, interpret, write, present, and publish clinical and non-clinical studies.
Provide study support from protocol and budget development to submission and completion for Phase III and IV clinical trials.
Support payer reimbursement by providing clinical information and insight.
Develop and execute association and publication strategies.
Contribute to drug safety assessments, reporting and quality assurance.
Develop topics and compile data for educational presentations and slide kits.
Contribute scientific, clinical, and experiential insights to the IIT, CME, and grant review processes.
Participate in multidisciplinary projects to support global and US commercialization of Oncology products, including LMR meetings, to review material for scientific accuracy.
Assists creating Medical Strategy with AVP Oncology for Scientific Communication Platform and Medical Brand Plan
Able to work cross functionally with Commercial, Regulatory Market Access and Clinical Development Teams
Create, develop, and enhance relationships with the medical community; assist Ferring colleagues with physician communications.
Actively participate in advisory boards, speaker training events, clinical investigator meetings, regional national and international meetings when required.
Participate in global , US national and US regional scientific conferences concerning all Ferring Oncology products
PharmD or PhD with 5+ years of pharmaceutical industry or related experience specifically within urology or oncology
MD preferred, not required
Must be able to work across boundaries (internally and globally)
Experience with payer and HCP presentations and scientific forums
Experience in product planning and development involving publication strategies, product monographs, promotional materials and/or drug safety surveillance
Ability to develop medical/scientific data into clear, cogent vignettes, teaching programs, and plenary presentations
