The Director, Medical Account Management & Strategic Alliances will serve as the field medical expert to managed markets (MCO, PBM, GPO, SP) and strategic alliance c-suite and key clinical decision makers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining professional relationships with healthcare practitioners involved in formulary development, pipeline, clinical/outcomes investigators, and national healthcare decision makers in prioritized national/regional managed market accounts

  • Responsible for establishing, developing, and cultivating professional relationships with c-suite and thought leaders at national strategic alliance accounts

  • Provide expert insights and execute organizational plan to shape medical and health policy

  • To educate formulary decision makers, thought leaders, and key influencers on the clinical and value proposition for therapies developed and commercialized by Sandoz Inc.

  • Incumbent will also work cross-functionally with business units, brand teams, new product teams, medical/clinical teams, Communications, Health Policy, State and External Affairs, Ethics & Compliance, and Legal to ensure collaborative relationships are built and fostered with Managed Markets and professional organizations for therapeutic areas within Sandoz.

  • Develops professional relationships with formulary decision makers and key influencers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information on

Sandoz products and areas of therapeutic interest as aligned with Medical Account Management (MAM) strategy. Upon unsolicited request for

information, presents data on Sandoz products to HCPs and formulary decision makers or committees. Collaborates with Managed Market Account teams, Communications, Medical Units (MSLs, Medical Directors), Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) colleagues as needed.

  • To develop a strategic and tactical medical plan for national managed market accounts and national strategic alliances

  • Supports product pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities and communication plans per MAM strategy and tactical plans

  • Attends and supports scientific and medical congresses. Maximizes internal and external customer engagement opportunities during medical congresses

  • Provides customer insights to inform and shape MAM strategy.

  • Leads or participates in projects and/or special initiatives

  • Create and implement innovative, new initiatives, programming and tools to expand the reach MCOs and Strategic Alliances with key business objectives

  • Strategic innovative thinking to develop projects to demonstrate value of biosimilars and Sandoz products to national accounts

  • Serves as medical resource for field colleague training.

  • Collaborate with Sandoz and US Public Affairs team members on educational resources for national strategic alliances and other Sandoz stakeholders

  • Develops a strategic plan for building and sustaining outreach on biosimilars aligned with business unit objectives and focused on key constituents including national associations and alliances.

  • Ability and expertise to present at national meetings and conferences to educate stakeholders on Sandoz objectives/ issues pertaining to biosimilars

  • Manages administrative responsibilities, such as e-mail, voicemail and expense reports per Sandoz SOPs

VIEW JOBS 8/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-05T00:00 <p>The Director Project Management is part of the Global Project Management group within Clinical Operations, one of the functional service lines within TFS Develop. </p><p> Director Project Management is responsible for providing oversight to Project Managers in the day to day management activities of their projects, ensuring management support in meeting operational and financial deliverables according to customer requirements and contractual obligations. </p><p> Director Project Management will ensure projects are planned and multidisciplinary study teams (including Site Management, Data Management, Statistics, Medical Writing, Regulatory and Safety) are pro-actively managed to ensure key milestones are achieved and studies are performed within budget, on schedule and in compliance with the appropriate compliance and quality standards. </p><p> Director Project Management may also provide a leadership role on global initiatives and strategic developments within the wider TFS organization</p><p>Manage the oversight of execution and conduct of clinical studies assigned to the project managers reporting into Director, Project Management  </p><p>Provide pro-active guidance and direction to assigned staff around project planning, project execution, project review, risk mitigation, problem solving and customer management to assist in service delivery and professional development  </p><p>Line management of assigned staff within Project Management </p><p>Participate in Recruitment and induction of new staff with Human Resources </p><p>Provide technical expertise and Project Management support to project managers </p><p>Ensure staff are appropriately qualified and trained by providing input to training plans, coaching and mentoring of assigned staff and assisting in the delivery of training </p><p>Ensure project plans and timelines are created and maintained </p><p>Ensure project budgets are managed, profitability is maintained and invoicing is performed on time and in accordance with the scope of work </p><p>Ensure projects are appropriately resourced through all phases of a project </p><p>Participate actively in Project Review Meetings and the project review process </p><p>Collect and analyze delivery and performance metrics </p><p>Identify and escalate issues as appropriate within the organization </p><p>Perform annual performance reviews for assigned staff </p><p>Participate in proposal and budget development for new opportunities </p><p>May lead bid defense preparations in partnership with Business Development and Senior Operations staff </p><p>Participate in and /or lead global process improvement initiatives </p><p>May act as a key relationship manager for assigned customers </p><p>Close collaboration with other Global functions, such as Site Management, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory and Safety </p><p>May act as Project Director in a project<br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in life science or RN diploma or equivalent </p><p>Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience including strong Dermatology experience </p><p>In depth knowledge of clinical research regulatory and compliance requirements </p><p>Thorough knowledge of the clinical drug development process </p><p>Proven ability to work through others to deliver results to quality, time and financial metrics </p><p>Excellent organizational skills </p><p>Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff </p><p>Sound judgement and decision making skills </p><p>Strong financial analytical skills </p><p>Very good written and verbal communication skills in English </p><p>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers </p><p>Ability and willingness to travel to 20% </p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>A great place to work.
