The Hearst E-Commerce team is looking for an experienced Director, Marketplace Growth to lead the strategy for organic and paid customer acquisition and retention for our e-commerce Marketplace across Hearst Magazines.
As the part of the Marketplace Growth team, you will be responsible for building our Marketplace traffic strategy across owned and operated sites, email, newsletters, SEO, and paid media. You will leverage consumer insights, financial inputs, business performance and industry trends to drive efficient revenue growth. Working closely with cross-functional channel marketing partners across merchandising, email, and paid traffic, you will play a key role in crafting marketing strategies across our brands' e-commerce efforts for acquisition, retention and customer engagement, and testing and learning across new potential new traffic drivers across our sites.
The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed and curious owner who embraces data-driven decision making. Our team will be focused on driving traffic from a wide spectrum of customer types - as such, you should be someone excited about exploring the varying engagement and shopping behaviors across regions, industries, and customer segments.
With our many partners across multiple Hearst teams, you should have excellent communication skills and comfort in collaborating and presenting concepts from with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership. You will also have strong e-commerce digital acquisition and retention experience, as well as a track record of collaborating effectively with marketing and creative teams to build best-in-class customer experiences.
