PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Under minimal direction, this position is responsible for measuring and evaluating marketing performance, supporting lead generation and integrated marketing campaigns, informing strategic planning and budgeting, and enhancing overall marketing process to understand and improve outcomes. Highly cross functional role requiring both providing both hands-on analysis as well as direction and guidance for the Marketing Analyst, strong program management, and the ability to build and lead a team. Position requires a growth driver, supporting the needs of the team, and identifying and chasing opportunities to accelerate the business - with an emphasis on mission-driven engagement, standardization, efficiency and support of a new omnichannel environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.

Assures quality customer service to all customers.

Hires, supervises, mentors, trains, develops, and evaluates performance of assigned staff. Identifies and effectively resolves employee issues.

Generates actionable insights and recommendations beyond the purely descriptive, builds a compelling narrative that will drive strategy.

Develops and maintains a process of continual evaluation of all marketing campaigns from the channel, segment and campaign perspective. Establishes benchmarks, goals and projections.

Supports the development of and quarterly reporting on annual marketing objectives (measurable goals by which priorities are evaluated).

Supports the development and quarterly review of marketing ROI budgets.

Develops and manages a testing and optimization program to improve short- and long-term outcomes.

Develops goals based on predictive modeling and forecasts.

Creates Marketing Mix/Attribution Models and understands offline conversions and impact of an omnichannel program.

Presents analysis and findings to a variety of audiences.

Remains abreast of changes and developments in the blood banking industry related to regulations and standards and provides direction to implement required changes. Establishes and maintains a network of professional relationships.

Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge/Education

Bachelor's degree required.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect business operations required.

Licenses/ Certifications

None

Experience

Eight years of related experience required. To include:

Five years marketing management experience.

Skills/Abilities

Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Must love data.

Expertise in writing SQL queries and other statistical software.

Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.

Must have experience overseeing marketing analytics for multiple complex programs.

Must have experience developing response projections and strategic planning.

Must have exceptional problem-solving skills and an ability to work closely with marketing strategy and technical stakeholders.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with targeted buyers by understanding our brand, customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive landscape. * Create, manage and execute the product marketing strategy and integrated marketing campaigns for new and existing products to optimize reach, customer acquisition and retention. * Lead creation of thought-leading product marketing materials and content across digital and print communications such as customer literature, blogs, e-mails, videos, webinars, presentations, web copy, advertisement and trade show/event material. * Develop a competitive intelligence framework and research, manage and provide key insights that will guide product requirements/positioning and strategic marketing initiatives. * Create effective materials and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders like product management, sales, partner marketing and customer success to achieve goals. * Partner with integrated marketing team to execute winning marketing initiatives. * Serve as a subject matter expert on the category internally and externally, creating and delivering presentations with confidence. * Monitor market and competitive trends, feed insights back into Blue Yonder teams and adjust strategies and execution as needed. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science or directly related experience required. * 5+ years of product marketing experience preferably in the SaaS environment or supply chain industry. * Strong planning and project management skills, with proven ability to oversee complex projects from origin to execution. * Exceptional collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams. * Strong sense of ownership, work ethic and self-motivation. * Experience in these additional marketing areas is a plus: Demand generation, email marketing, social media and branding. * Ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines.
