Fender is expanding its direct-to-consumer relationship through a suite of digital products and interactive experiences. As a result we are building out a robust suite of data collection that will help us dive into the heart of what drives consumers in the music instruments world. Our new Director, Marketing Analytics, will help identify key data points that will help us understand how to grow towards our various goals including: Loyalty, CRM, Personalization, Omni-channel, Integrated Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Customer Lifecycle Management, Product Management & Strategy, and Business Modeling. They will also be own visualization of said data as they build out a world class dash board, reporting system for Fenders future.

About the Job:

  • Lead management of web, mobile analytics, A/B & multivariate testing, revenue & operational analytics & SEO

  • Present key analyses and actionable insights, such as break-even, lifetime value (LTV) and cohort analysis, to executives & internal/external stakeholders to increase revenue & profitability

  • Create client-facing dashboards highlighting brand awareness, sentiment analysis & Net Promoter Scores for brands

  • Build out and own coherent and detailed data dashboard reflecting attribution, segmentation, churn, propensity and personalization among other data points

  • Develop and continuously improve a multi touch attribution model

What you need:

  • Minimum of 5 years in an analytics position

  • Strong background in data management

  • Advanced skills using data visualization tools

  • Expert in third party tracking and reporting tools

  • Experience in a subscription based product a plus

  • Experience building a comprehensive data dashboard from scratch

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for market and product strategy and day-to-day execution of a fast growing business in Pharma Analytics. Our portfolio consists of fully integrated testing solutions, including sample preparation chemistry, automation, instrumentation, software and services, and focuses on process analytics technologies (PAT) including product and process contaminants, impurities and quality during the manufacture of biotherapeutics. This position will lead global portfolio strategies, drive innovative solutions to customer challenges, manage day-to-day operations for top line growth and profitability, and provide market leadership in the development of innovative products. Responsibilities: * Develop long-range product strategies and guide fiscal planning for future positioning, growth, and evolution of Pharma Analytics business, including identifying, establishing and managing strategic relationships with customers and industry opinion leaders. This position is ultimately responsible for revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and market share objectives. * Provide product management leadership, from concept to commercialization (full product lifecycle). Manage the life cycle of the existing product portfolio. Responsibilities include five-year product line strategies, pricing /margin optimization, management across the customer value continuum, and customer engagement efforts. * Devise and implement organizational strategies and processes to position Pharma Analytics business for growth and scale, including Quality, PMO, operations, commercial/channel, etc. Develop business cases and recommend investments to drive sustainable growth. * Establish and nurture business relationships with key counterparts and other divisions at Thermo Fisher for joint development and road map for platforms utilized by Pharma Analytics. * Serve as Pharma Analytics champion with internal stakeholders, regional teams, and directly with key accounts. An effective performer will maintain close interaction with field organization (e.g., sales and technical support) through training and active participation in the sales process, including customer visits, pricing tactics, and customer support. . * Champion successful launches through requirements, development, and commercialization. Working closely with cross-functional teams, own the ultimate customer and financial success of new product introductions (NPIs). * Leverage Business Development to develop optimal licensing, partnership, and acquisition strategies that expand product portfolio. * Lead a high performing business team by hiring, developing and engaging talented and motivated employees. Responsible to enable a high performing business team through effective coaching and development. * Contribute to the Purification & Pharma Analytics leadership team, driving collaboration to ensure achievement of growth targets. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with strong analytical skills. An MBA preferred. * 10+ years of experience in product management, strategy, strategic marketing. * 5+ years of people management and business leadership. * Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in the Life Science market required. Familiarity with biopharma manufacturing and critical customer and regulatory requirements is preferred. * Working knowledge of biochemical and molecular biology techniques and lab automation and software applications is desirable. Experience with clinical diagnostic might be helpful. * Strong track record of proactively driving programs forward with a focus on financial results. * Demonstrated ability to drive growth through product innovation. * Demonstrated experience working in a highly matrixed corporate environment. Effective at influencing others and building relationships, using a collaborative approach. * Comfortable with ambiguity and able to quickly to adjust to changes in the market. * Excellent leadership and communication skills. * Ability to travel 50+% based on work requirements.
