Responsible for the Long Term Planning, Asset Impairment test processes and provide accurate, timely and insightful analysis for Senior Management; identify and solve business issues by using financial and modelling skills to enable management decision making in the company. Significant interface with key internal stakeholders (commercial, business development, treasury, accounting and operational leaders).
Support Executive/ Managing Director of Business Planning & Analysis with special projects as necessary. Use long term forecast models to analyze various business scenarios and translates changing economic, market, regulatory and other local conditions into financial implications.
Leads modeling efforts, with key input into the assumptions, that supports company's Lon Term Plan and asset impairment tests for both USGAAP and IFRS.
Work closely with accounting, Tax and Treasury teams to provide accurate forecast for all current and expected Tax Equity structures within the company
Act as a liaison with Avangrid and Iberdrola finance teams on the activities previously described.
Develops and maintains multiple complex business financial models to be used for strategic planning, budgeting and long-term forecasting. Maintains a solid understanding of specific accounting and regulatory treatment specific to the US portfolio.
Lead/support efforts to enhance forecast accuracy by developing, and implementing systems/processes for long range plans and HLBV projections.
Participate in the preparation of annual Investor Day materials that support five-year outlook
Recommend, develop, and implement process improvements to optimize budget and Long Term Planning processes.
Provides meaningful and timely explanation of forecast and recommendations to minimize risks; develops effective financial, management, and operational reporting that conveys results and orients discussions to key events, risks, and business decisions across Avangrid Renewable Portfolio.
Assists in the development of annual budget and intra year forecast.
Support investor relations and Treasury team (rating agency presentations, banker's presentations, external financings) as needed.

Seven (7) years of recent verifiable experience in a similar role is required.
MBA degree (preferred) or CPA designation
Experience in energy industry is a plus
Strong financial modeling skills of financial statements including income statement, cash flow and balance sheet.
Working experience in forecasting complex financial structures (Tax Equity Partnerships) and HLBV modeling.
Good understanding of double entry process and accounting/ reporting under US GAAP (IFRS is a plus).
Knowledge of financial metrics principles, purchase price allocation and valuation methodologies.
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft office and financial management software (e.g. SAP/BPC) (User profile).
Demonstrated ability to lead projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills with highly developed interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others as well as operate with a minimum of supervision.
