This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday

  • Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a hybrid position.

We are seeking a Director, Laboratory Services to:

  • Have oversight of our services that include Molecular Diagnostics, Microbiology, Toxicology and Transfusion Services.

  • Offer high level leadership and strategic direction for a large, well-functioning leadership team and staff.

  • Partner with highly qualified pathologists to deliver remarkable diagnostic services.

Education:

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or Lab related technical area

Work Experience:

Minimum

  • Five years of relevant leadership experience within a laboratory setting

Preferred

  • Has held an administrative position in a large academic or complex health program that included laboratory specific services

Licenses and Certifications:

Preferred

  • American Society for Clinical Pathology registered as Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician, Cytotechnologist, Specialist in Cytotechnology, Histotechnician, Histotechnologist, Technologist in Blood Bank, Specialist in Blood Bank, Phlebotomist, Diplomate in Laboratory Management or other relevant certification
