KPMG is currently seeking a Director in CIO Advisory for our Management Consulting practice.
Lead the delivery of consulting engagements, helping consumer and retail sector executive level clients plan and navigate IT transformation that is business-driven, typically resulting from strategic business change, mergers and acquisitions and other business disruption
Manage consulting engagements from initial planning through to final deliverable development and presentation which includes assembling teams, managing day-to-day engagement team activities and interactions with client executives, managing engagement financials, defining and overseeing deliverable development
Help grow and develop consulting business in the consumer and retail sector and work with colleagues to identify client opportunities and needs that may be addressed through CIO Advisory and other KPMG consulting offerings
Maintain relationships with technology decision makers at targeted clients, lead proposal development and develop thought leadership and specialized insights relevant to consumer and retail clients around to disruptive technologies (intelligent automation, cloud), digital, mobile, modern delivery, architecture, and others
Counsel, coach and develop consulting staff and help build an expanded team focused on consumer and retail CIO Advisory capabilities
A minimum of eight years of related consulting experience showing progression and promotion helping clients enhance their IT capabilities which includes understanding client business strategies and their implications on IT, understanding how technology can enable new business strategies, assessing IT capabilities, and planning transformational change
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; MBA from an accredited college/university is preferred
Working understanding of leading practices, performance drivers, and typical issues across a broad set of IT capability and performance topics, with an emphasis on the consumer and retail sector
Strong skills and experiences in IT strategy and business alignment, IT governance, IT management, solution development practices, service management practices, enterprise architecture, sourcing, infrastructure and emerging technologies
Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business, and build lasting professional relationships with senior level IT executives and accomplished executive business development track record and demonstrated leadership capabilities
Willingness to travel up to one hundred percent
