What will you do as our Director, IT Digital Development?
Blending roles sometimes referred to as a Digital Product Owner or Digital Development Lead, MMI's Director of Digital Development serves as a key contributor to the organization's overall digital direction, focusing their impact on the technical implementation of digital strategy across our service portfolio.
In partnership with senior leadership, create and communicate a vision for MMI's digital services.
Direct MMI's digital development efforts, ranging from mobile applications to online service delivery.
Constantly work with and across a variety of organizational functions to understand the overlapping interests and responsibilities pertaining to digital offerings and to ensure continual alignment throughout the organization.
Partner with key internal stakeholders ranging from operational leadership to the key relationship with marketing resources to determine the direction and delivery plans for future offerings.
Guide a digitally focused development team through an Agile-based processed to deliver code updates on a regular cadence.
Engage directly and indirectly with external customers as a key source of input regarding MMI's digital direction.
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Experience with contemporary digital development techniques, patterns, and practices.
Experience with at least one programming language used in web development (.net, Python, Xamarin, React, Node.js, etc.).
Experience serving as a team leader and/or manager of technical resources.
Experience with Agile-based development processes.
Strong planning skills related to the range of activities from product strategy through development through delivery.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including direct experience navigating a variety of stakeholders with different levels of interest, influence, and engagement in digital projects.
