About the Role:

GoodRx is looking for a highly motivated Inventory & Yield Director to join a growing, fast-moving team focused on delivering advertising products to pharmaceutical manufacturer partners on GoodRx.com. With more than a dozen native and non-native advertising products spread across thousands of pages and serving hundreds of clients, this role will require someone who is a strategic thinker, highly analytical, and extremely organized. This role will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Media Planners and will report to the VP of Revenue and Sales Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the efforts on inventory forecasting, developing time series forecasting models to provide visibility of inventory, highlighting opportunities and risks. This key strategic initiative will drive marginal revenue growth through increased yield from our digital advertising products. This role will require the development and implementation of yield optimization strategies that will maximize revenue across three digital platforms.

  • Use data to identify opportunities for improving ad performance and yield, and then implementing the change as quickly as possible and then optimize and iterate.

  • Lead the Media Planning by providing accurate and granular inventory forecasts and avails. Help guide Sales and Media Planners into areas of inventory that will generate the highest yield in the shortest time frame.

  • Manage campaign revenue-at-risk and provide optimization recommendations to key stakeholders.

  • Oversee and optimize inventory to meet demand as well as help us maximize our sell-through rate.

  • Own the rate cards and oversee pricing, discounting and buying models.

  • Use analytics tools like Looker and Amplitude to extract actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making. Prior knowledge of SQL, Looker or other similar BI tools is a plus, as it will make you self-sufficient in terms of digging into the data.

  • Generate regular reports on yield performance, inventory and other operational metrics.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Ops, Product to help identify new opportunities to increase revenue and monetization.

  • Regularly review the performance of the implemented strategies, adjusting and optimizing as necessary to ensure progress towards set goals

  • Optimize and maintain documentation of yield and inventory management processes, ensuring transparency and knowledge sharing.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years previous digital media experience, and 4+ years experience in yield management and operational leadership in media or advertising related industries. Experience in Healthcare and or publisher environments is a plus.

  • 4+ years experience in quantitative or data analysis/data science.

  • Candidates must be strong in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication across various internal stakeholders at different levels. The candidate must also possess financial acumen and an understanding of how to help grow the business. Fluent in the language of digital media: CPM, CTR, CPM, VCPM, Fill Rate, Unique Users, Page Views, Impressions, Visits

  • Analytical experience evaluating the effective value of digital placements and experience making recommendations to increase their value

  • Inventory management experience, specifically helping a company model and plan for growth in support of sales and financial targets.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with digital marketing tools, best practices and market trends.

  • Familiarity with marketing principles, advertising metrics, camping forecasting and the concepts and technology associated with digital advertising.

  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and executing deliverables in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive outlook.

The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.

San Francisco and Seattle Offices:

$190,000.00 - $305,000.00

New York Office:

$174,000.00 - $279,000.00

Santa Monica Office:

$158,000.00 - $254,000.00

Other Office Locations:

$142,000.00 - $229,000.00
