About the role
The international and Wholesale division was established in 2023 to drive enhanced value for both our enterprise and each individual brand by expanding consumer touchpoints though countries, categories, and channels. Reporting to the President of International, the International and Wholesale Merchandising Director will be responsible for the Brand presentation outside of our owned channel. This is a newly created role within a startup division that touches multiple functions across two brands providing an experienced merchant the opportunity to expand into general management. This is an opportunity to join an exciting new business unit, working in a start-up environment, while accessing the resources and established infrastructure of a major company.
The impact you can have
Merchandising
Establish the wholesale merchandising function within Ann Taylor and LOFT
Build sound assortment strategies by brand to deliver seasonal brand messages and drive profitable growth
Develop floor ready directed assortments based on brand and partner segmentation.
Conduct commercial market activities
Marketing
Serve as critical liaison between partners and brand marketing teams
Create seasonal marketing brief to ensure brand priorities translate to wholesale or franchise environments.
Ensure Asset management and capture for external use
Business Development
Develop a Sourcing forecasting process as the business expands
Review and determine licensed product approvals in keeping with the Brand DNA and guidelines
Business review: Review, report and make recommendations on brand performance within partner network.
Collaborate with brand (Ann Taylor & LOFT) leadership, Visual Merchandising, Sourcing, Marketing, and Finance.
Experience and Qualifications
Accomplished merchant with 10+ years of experience in women's specialty apparel.
Exceptional leadership capabilities, executive presence, and the ability to influence others across functions, building support and engagement.
Ability to thrive in a startup environment.
Growth mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment as we scale.
Prior experience with Sourcing, Marketing, Sales.

The target salary range for this role is $175,000 - 200,000.*
