Job Description

The Director of International Store Tech Enablement is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale store IT product development portfolios, ensuring the successful execution of multiple software development projects across diverse platforms. With a focus on store technology, this leader is accountable and responsible for product deployment & enablement, product adoption & usage, and full-service product support. Additionally, the individual is responsible for the accuracy of estimates, on-time delivery, and the alignment of technical standards with organizational strategy. This includes comprehensive business and financial management, taking ownership of the international store technology P&L, financial reporting, cash flow analysis, and revenue projections. This role plays a pivotal role in product management, collaborating with key COEs to drive customer satisfaction, implement software solutions, and refine business models. This position involves extensive international travel, demonstrating thought leadership in the store technology space.

Planning & Execution:

  • Oversee and lead extensive store development portfolios with multiple teams and diverse workstreams, managing competing priorities and levels of importance.

  • Accountable for the on-time, quality delivery of multiple concurrent software development projects, spanning various mobile and web platforms within the international tech portfolio.

  • Ensure accuracy in project estimates and alignment with the IS technology strategy through the management of detailed technical standards.

  • Enable technology that grows order count, sales, and creates in-store operational efficiency.

Business & Financial Management:

  • Manage International store technology P&L, including financial reporting, cash flow analysis, revenue projections, capital expenditures, business expenses, and customer billing.

  • Build annual budgets and refresh projected and forecasted financials throughout the course of the year with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Manage an entire portfolio of work, covering Operational Support, New Customer On-Boarding, Feature Development, and Large-Scale System Integration.

  • Oversee International store technology contracts with Master Franchisees, overseeing new contracts, amendments, renewals, and related responsibilities.

  • Drive new business acquisition and customer conversion through the sales cycles of converting and onboarding Master Franchisees to our technology platforms and products.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, specifically, Master Franchisees to help them build and grow their business. Focus on store and master franchisee profitability complimented Domino's Technology profitability.

Product Management:

  • Evolve the store product offering into a full product suite that is flexible, customizable, and agile.

  • Travel internationally to sell and support the Global store products, establishing thought leadership in the store technology space.

  • Ensure customers are getting the most value from our products and look for ways to enhance our product experiences, partnering with global product managers, owners, and development teams.

Process & Technology:

  • Ensure alignment of technological solution architectures with IS technical standards and direction.

  • Provide architectural oversight for the development of new solutions and enhancements based on customer specifications.

  • Accountable for the propagation of technology assets and ensuring a return on technology investments.

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage third-party vendors, products, technology, or processes for integration.

  • Support our technology products with world-class up-time and availability of 99.99%.

Organizational Development:

  • Collaborate with Marketing to implement new software solutions that drive customer satisfaction and exceed quality expectations.

  • Partner with Finance partners to build 5-year business models and projections for continuous refinement of the international technology business model.

  • Lead and mentor the International Tech Development Team, specifically a group 5+ Technical Delivery Managers responsible for project execution.

  • Develop team members to increase bench strength and flexibility, ensuring appropriate training and resources for effective job performance.

  • Recruit, retain, and motivate highly technical personnel, fostering cross-training for future account support and knowledge transfer.

  • Ensure team members understand and align with the group's overall goals and operating structures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 7+ years of IT experience with a focus on development, web development, and architecture.

  • 5+ years managing an agile software development organization.

  • 5+ years building commercial software products through the full life cycle.

  • 3+ years managing large scale technical integration projects.

  • 3+ years of customer relationship management.

  • Proven experience recruiting, managing, and retaining an open-source development team.

  • Extensive Information Security background and PCI experience.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to work with senior management.

  • Demonstrated ability to be productive in a fast-moving environment with a tolerance for ambiguity.

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.

  • Strong general business and IT acumen, ensuring credibility with other leadership team members.

  • Experience managing IT projects from a financial perspective, with a focus on creating comprehensive business cases and plans.

Additional Information

  • Role is onsite 3x a week at our Ann Arbor, MI headquarters and candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the area

  • 30-50% international travel will be required for this role
