Job

Overview:

This role is a player/coach of a team of Inside Sales Representatives and Business Development Representatives that are responsible for developing and qualifying revenue opportunities within their assigned territory. They generate new business opportunities to fuel pipeline growth by conducting strategic research and outreach to warm and cold prospects. You will play a key role as you lead/manage this highly visible and motivated team. You and your team will contribute to the overall sales strategy while planning and executing upon the objective of pipeline growth.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience building and leading a successful business development team in cyber security, managed security services or subscription technology. You should also have a background developing leads from inbound and outbound campaigns, and meeting aggressive sales targets. You will use your communication skills to motivate your team and cultivate strong relationships with prospects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Hire, Train and Manage team of Inside Sales and Business Development Representatives
  • Report on activity and forecast within Salesforce.com
  • Motivate Individuals and Team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity
  • Qualifying leads as sales opportunities
  • Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Presenting our company to potential clients
  • Identifying client needs and suggesting appropriate products/services
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market
  • Setting up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Creating sales proposals and quotes
  • Reporting results on weekly basis
  • Staying up-to-date with new products/services

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales management or sales development management, preferably in managed security services, cyber security or subscription technology sales, with a consistent proven track record of over achievement of quota expectations
  • Proven experience successfully managing people to achieve performance goals
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Must be able to thrive in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to hire and train new sales representatives
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Experience in sales coaching and mentoring
  • Has a strong drive for results
  • Consultative selling experience; Is a trusted advisor
  • Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment
  • Must be a resourceful self-advocate
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Strong experience with MS Office applications
  • College degree from an accredited university

Base Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 (DOE)


On-Target-Earnings: $200,000.00 - $235,000.00 + Great Benefits + Full Expenses
