Responsibilities:

Identifies revenue opportunities within customers communities through communications, programs, demonstrations, and other activities

Creates and maintains a lead generation/qualified lead handoff system that interacts with both marketing and sales

Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations

Communicate with prospects via telephone or email to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline

Performs analysis of prospects needs and requirements, offers solutions and support accordingly

Ensures accounts are properly researched in order to identify key players and generate interest

Qualifies leads from campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, other events, etc.

Creates and maintains a database/list of prospect clients

Engage in technical discussions with potential clients through effective demonstrations and presentations

Routes qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales Rep for further development and closure

Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers

Keeps Sales Reps and Management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports



Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

At least 5 years of experience in inside sales and proven track record of meeting KPIs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Familiarity with Sales Lifecycle Management including the use of CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce) and various databases to document customer interactions

Broad-based networking skills; demonstrated ability to build relationships and to communicate at senior management level
