Our Director's In Training are responsible for ensuring that our centers are operated according to our high standards and maintaining our reputation for excellence. Directors In Training must be dedicated to positively representing the company to their communities, inspiring and teaching children, and building a team of individuals who are committed to providing outstanding customer service. On a daily basis you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices are in place in the center.

  • Conducting tours for prospective parents and enrolling new families.

  • Creating and implementing local marketing plans to drive enrollment.

  • Ensuring licensing standards are met and assisting in the accreditation process for the center.

  • Assisting teachers with the weekly development and execution of the curriculum and program activities.

  • Monitoring and managing the financial progress of your center.

  • Ensuring a safe environment for the children in our care.

In order to be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements, including:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must have current certification in infant, child and adult CPR and first aid

  • Must have at least 2 semester hours in Child Care Administration from an accredited college or university, or a minimum of 3.0 CEUs in Child Care Administration.

  • Must have one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development

  • Bachelor's degree or higher with 18 credits in ECE, Child Development or Child related field with 1 year of teaching experience in a child care setting and 1 year of supervisory experience

  • Associate's degree in ECE or Child Development with 1 year of teaching experience in a child care setting and 1 year of supervisory experience

  • CDA with 18 semester hours in ECE or Child Development plus 1 year of teaching experience in a child care setting and 1 year of supervisory experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * Bachelor's degree required * Professional certificate or graduate degree required * 10 - 15 Years' experience in function * 15+ Years' experience in industry * CTFA preferred * 10+ years experience in Trust, Private Banking or Financial Services. Prior experience in sales management (either wealth or related field.) * 8+ years managing high performance work teams, with proven team management skills to include coaching, development and communication of team goals and roles, provide timely feedback. * High degree of investment services and product acumen, and keen interest in financial markets. * Proficient in all Microsoft Office , and experience with manipulating Bank Core System required, experience with trust accounting systems and CRM preferred, including reporting functionality. * Ability to develop a diverse team and creates a climate in which people are motivated and empowered to do their best, inviting input and sharing ownership in the regional strategy. * Excellent strategic vision; understands the direction of the organization and where Wealth fits into the strategic plan; can articulate vision to motivate and influence others. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership * Supervise, coordinate, coach, mentor and counsel Regional Wealth Management Sales and Service Team. Supervise the sales and service responsibilities for all Wealth staff in the assigned region. * Responsible for developing and evaluating relationship management, sales and service skills of team members through regular coaching sessions, joint calls, and team meetings. Determine and oversee training of customer facing staff. * Coordinate and coach the sales and service activities of the Regional Team; manage standards of service and service performance of the team. * Be a leader of the Company Culture, setting a people agenda to ensure we deliver on our Mission of being driven to enhance the lives of the communities we serve by consistently exceeding expectations. * Responsible for recruitment, retention, performance and developmental coaching. Must also be able to source a pipeline of talent for future open positions. Business Development * Plays key role in coordination of efforts to expand market share; exhibits an entrepreneurial mind-set * Serves as an ambassador for the Bank and specifically, for the evolution of the business in the region * Develops a market business plan and client relationship management and sales plans with the team and ensures that the plans are executed, in order to achieve financial goals for the region. * Identifies and establishes strong relationships with the Bank's Wealth Management referral sources, attorney's and other professional centers of influence. * Administers and maintains profitability of assigned high profile trust and investment accounts and cross sells to gather additional assets to expand client relationships. Compliance Risk Management * Work in coordination with Line of Business Managers to ensure compliance within each line of business. * Create a culture of risk and control that acts with appropriate understanding and urgency; with ultimate responsibility to safeguard our customers and business. * Resolve complex issue around working with high net worth clients. Community Involvement * Coordinate the Community Involvement of the staff at the site of the event. * Actively participate in the activities of the local community. * Hold a leadership role on at least one community board. Other / Miscellaneous * Travel is needed to meet with clients on-site at various locations across assigned region. * Attend strategic meetings, speaking to advisory boards, speaking at officers' meetings, coordinating with other lines of business within the Region. * Participate in Wealth Management Senior Management Committee and Trust Investment Committee.
