Continuing Studies seeks a marketing professional with a growth mindset, who is collaborative with a strong customer service orientation, and possesses keen analytical abilities and superior communication skills to serve as the Director of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and as Chief Marketing and Communication Officer and to lead a talented staff during an exhilarating period of growth. Shifting demographics and technologies will require new services, policies, technologies, and partnerships to support the lifelong learner. IMC supports Continuing Studies' expanding array of credit and noncredit programs for lifelong students.
IMC uses a marketing agency structure, leveraging account managers to work with clients within Continuing Studies and across the university. The team plays a unique role on campus in that it doesn't just market programs within a particular school or college, but serves noncredit programming, multiple clients across UW-Madison, visiting international students, special students, and Summer Term students, among others. The same production team creates collateral for all of these brands and types of students.
Core IMC services include marketing strategy, lead generation, design, content marketing, public relations, social media, direct marketing, advertising, and web design and development. Organized under Strategy and External Relations, IMC is composed of account managers, a digital team, a Public Relations and writing team, and a design team.
